This is the instructor version of the popular Mighty Wings mission. You have your choice of aircraft for the mission which includes the following: A4, F5, F14, F15, F16, and F18.

In this mission, you will airstart against eight F-14B flown by Top Gun students out of Nellis. Your job is to teach them a few things about air-to-air combat.

Each aircraft will be armed with two-to-four AIM-9 missiles and guns. Expect a furball to develop! Good luck!

The Freeware Community A-4 Mod is required for this mission. Some of the instructor skins (especially for the F-16) may be custom skins, so if you are seeing default skins, feel free to download some others and mod the mission so you see skins you enjoy. With gunfights inevitable, you want to see nice-looking targets.

I enjoy creating unusual missions that are somewhat realistic. In this mission, you are piloting a classic warbird, a P-47D over Nevada, trying to get to Laughlin for a refueling stop, then on to the next airshow. Unfortunately, there's some trouble in the air and you end up lost. Now you must find your way without the aid of a compass. Can you regain your bearings and make it to Laughlin before running out of fuel? Good luck!

You will need to manage your fuel in some missions. These are not all "shoot em ups!" Rather, these are long missions with you having to fly escort and maybe some excitement here and there. This is an alternate-history mission for the F-104 STARFIGHTER MOD. You will need the mod and the German skins for it. As I recall, the skins are included with the mod and should work by default.

In this mission, the Soviets are flying a high altitude reconnaissance mission over the Persian Gulf. Wait for the call to scramble, then get up to altitude and make the intercept. But beware! You are not allowed to fly supersonic over land, and you are not allowed to fire without permission. The recon aircraft may also accelerate and climb to escape you, so you will need to be swift, and use AWACS to guide your intercept.

This mission is best flown with "dots" and ID OFF.

This is a multiplayer capture the flag mission. The Aggressors will fly the F-16C, and the BLUE force will pilot the F-14B. The mission takes place on the Nellis range. BLUE captures the flag if they overfly Nav Point India (NW of Rachel) and wins if the same aircraft overflies Nellis. If this aircraft is shot down, the Aggressors win. Both sides can also win by destroying all the aircraft on the opposing side. There are 4 Aggressor slots, with Aggressors flying individually. There are six F-14B slots, with each 14 flying in a pair. There are 16 seats for players, 10 pilots and and 6 as RIO.

Armaments for both sides are short-range missiles only (AIM 9) but all of the F-14 have one AIM 7 Sparrow missile each to provide some limited standoff capability and a challenge for the Aggressors.

Note: This mission uses the "F16C Aggressors skin pack v1.3" as an optional modification for the mission.

You are Ibis Leader, and your mission is to lead a pair of trainee pilots on a training mission. The mission is simple, get up, fly your waypoints, and land. It begins just before dawn, so you will be taking off in the dark and landing in the daylight. Mission duration is around 45 minutes. This mission is a TRAINING FLIGHT, not a combat mission. You will simply lead two rookie pilots on a circuit over the Persian Gulf coast then land back at your base. Enjoy this relaxing experience!

PLEASE READ THESE NOTES BEFORE INSTALLING THIS MISSION!

UPDATED 5.21.20 - See change-log in description below. SPECIAL CREDIT TO "HILOK" for voiceovers and other help upgrading the mission.

This is a BORING mission, or will be for some. It is not a "shoot em up" mission. It is an escort mission that lasts for over an hour and requires you to follow Air Force One around the Nellis Range. The greatest challenge you will face will be fuel management, and sipping your gas to land back at Nellis once released from escort duty. The mission features random triggers which fires one of four permutations. At some point well into the mission, something will happen, but that doesn't mean you will be cleared to shoot.

Players will need the following to play this mission:
- Civil Aircraft Mod (which will allow various airliners to appear, including Air Force One).
- F16C Viper Module
- Nevada Map

You will also need patience and a willingness to fly a long, boring mission.

In this mission, the player flies as an F-16 Aggressor against four elite Navy F-14's. The mission starts in the air, so you get into the action quick. It's all about fun in this furball engagement. Both sides have IR missiles and guns only. Good luck!

You will need the F-16 and Nevada map to play this mission. This mission can be easily modified for multiplayer or to fly another aircraft. If anyone would like me to make the modification for them, look me up in the forums and send me a message.

I used the Alaska Aggressor and Israel skins since they were different from default and felt more fun, but you do not have to add these unless you wish. Without these skins installed, you will see the default F-16 skin.

This is a real white-knuckle mission that will put a pit in your stomach. You are an American spy in the East vs. West proxy air war fought between Northeria and Southeria. Your mission is to steal a MiG 21 prototype (Codename FIREFOX). However, once arrived, you discover the odds are stacked against you. You'll have to make a run to the south, with limited fuel, and less armament. Worse, the entire Soviet Air Force will be scrambled to pursue you. Can you pull it off and become a hero? Or will both sides erase your memory from history?

I may make some additional revisions to this mission, if I get feedback with suggestions. Also, positive comments are useful too. My goal was to create an anxiety-inducing, yet fun mission that would challenge experienced pilots. I may also make this mission flyable from the RED side in the near-future. Good luck!

This is a significantly improved version of this mission. Previous 1.x versions are now outdated. This version has improved timing, a lot of tweaks, and a lot more triggers which will provide good replay and entertainment. The mission also provides a good challenge for Tomcat drivers.

In this mission, you will fly a patrol mission over the Strait of Hormuz. Recently, Iran has been testing our reactions, but so far, there have been no hostilities.

You will be 'Weapons Hold' during this mission, unless you are fired upon. A variable trigger determines what enemies you will face, and if shooting will occur. Stay alert, and focused, and above all, stay disciplined. We don't need an international incident which embarrasses the United States and ends your career, or life.

F-14B module and Persian Gulf map are required for this mission.

The Americans have been violating Iranian airspace for weeks, and it is time to put an end to their provocations.

The IRIAF is sending you to lead a pair of MiG 29 on a patrol over the gulf. If the Americans send anything up today, you will be directed to intercept it. If they approach our airspace, you will be directed to warn them. And if they violate our airspace, this time, you may be directed to shoot them down. At all times, mind the rules of engagement!

This mission features a series of variable triggers which will change some key variables each time. That means this mission will enjoy some decent replay value, so give it at least a few plays. Depending on the results of the random triggers, the Americans might bug out, they might not even violate our airspace. Or, they could put up a fight that will test your skills, or leave you bobbing in the gulf, waiting for rescue. Your job is to be prepared for anything.

Iran has seized a Ukranian ship under allegations of illegal activity. The ship also had an American national on board, who is a person of interest to both sides. It is expected the Americans will attempt to recover him.

You will begin on the ground in a state of cockpit readiness. If the Americans come, you will be scrambled into action.

Are you among the many who have watched "Iron Eagle" and thought, "Wow, that's ridiculous!" Well, say no more, because this mission allows you to rewrite the ending of the movie to be a little more realistic.

In this mission, you are a pilot in a (not so small!) middle eastern country. Your mission is to fly the Mirage 2000C on a training sortie, leading a pair of less-experienced pilots.  

Of course, your country has oil, so it's only a matter of time before those Americans are "picked up on radar." Your job is to resist American imperialism and to rewrite "Iron Eagle" to have a more realistic ending.

This is the last mission of 'Duke' Mitchell, the father of Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell of Top Gun fame. The mission is another take on the story told by 'Viper' in the movie.

In this mission, you will fly the F-14 over the Persian Gulf in an attempt to protect a diplomatic transport flight departing Iran. There's no messing around in this mission. You start in the air, and within a few minutes you're in hot against four aggressors flying the F-5. You can also edit the mission to fly the F-5 as an aggressor against the four student F-14s.

The point is to have a really good time while testing your skills in the airspace between Groom Lake and Creech.

This is a template for those wishing to build 'Top Gun' type scenarios using the A4 (freeware) mod and the F-14.

Please read the notes inside the mission briefing.

Features 8 Aggressors, 12 Students, Groom Lake no-fly zone, Nellis "container" to facilitate mission planning and teamwork, nearly 200 custom triggers, pilot callsigns, skill levels set, and more.

It is expected you will use this template as a base for designing your own missions. However, the mission can instantly be flown as a single-player, stand alone with the F-18 as an aggressor. But don't expect it to be particularly fun, the idea is for you to build your own single player or multiplayer experience.

This is a multiplayer version of the "Sidewinder" mission from the SEA EAGLE series.

This mission requires the A-4 Skyhawk (a free mod) and the Nevada map.

In this mission, two players fly A-4s as Sea Eagle instructors for the Navy, using the Nellis range for training in 1978. The instructors will operate out of Creech, and must ambush four F-4 phantoms flown by students in the Sally Corridor. The trick is to use terrain to ambush the students.

Be careful! A single hit, even in not fatal, will put you out of the mission. Can you teach the students a lesson they will remember? The mission includes random triggers to increase replayability.
