The year is 1978, and you are an A-4 aggressor pilot at Sea Eagle, a fictional 'Top Gun' like training school for new pilots. In this mission, you will depart alone, at dawn, to take on a pair of F-4 student pilots. Your goal: teach them what a motivated aviator can do against greater numbers in superior aircraft; it's the man, not the machine.
This mission is for the A-4, and may become the first part of a series. The mission is inspired by Top Gun, but does not pretend to recreate any particular moment from the film. In fact, I am leaving that to more experienced designers once the F-14 module is released. <br />

In the meantime, you can fly an A-4 against Phantoms. I felt the Phantom, although at the end of its career by this time, was a decent match for the A4. <br />

The mission features a random trigger so you will face a pair of F-4s whose skill level will vary with each play. The mission does not include voiceovers, but does have text to explain what is going on. It could use a bit more polish, but it is quite complete as it is. I found it fun, and played it several times without tiring. Perhaps you will enjoy it as well! Feedback welcome. You may also connect with me on the forums as "TheHighwayman."<br />

Your job is simple. Get up, shoot down the pair of phantoms out of Nellis, then land back at Creech. <br />

The A-4 module and Nevada map are required for this mission.
