Due to heavy air defense and ships presence you must follow the coast line at low altitude and high speed, Follow the flight plan as close as possible to reduce detection probability.
you can't afford more than a single pass on the target: AA is heavy... and a second pass will let them react.
Avoid at any coast ground space on your way back to the stennis. The defenses are too heavy.
The destruction of this Sam site should open a windows for a harbor strike.

Launch from the carrier and follow your predetermined course until receiving an airborne order from Sea Lord. Enter in the new waypoint and continue inbound but keep it low to avoid SAMs. The troops will guide you in for the CAS. Hold off enemy armor until Waldo and Pigpen arrive to evacuate the troops. Watch out for MIGs in the area. The mission was created to match audio found on the web, much of it from real combat. It's a fun mission to fly with lots of radio chatter to get you immersed into the sim. You can fly it alone or with friends, it works either way but it sure helps to have a few guys along with you to keep the MIGs busy or to get at those pesky BTRs before they shoot up too many friendlies.

Single rescue mission for the Huey, the very same as for the Mi-8.
This is much much harder than with the Mi-8. Simply because the Huey is slower and doesn't have the same grunt as the Mi-8.
Hell, I can't tell you how many engines I've burned and how many times I've been shot down playtesting this. But now it works! Going in with regular machineguns and a full tank of gas just won't do it. I had to adapt to reality and set the fuel to 30% and arm the damn bird with them miniguns. THEN and only then do you have a chance. If you're good.

This USMC Hornet was an FA-18A+ model that served with VMFA-115 "Silver Eagles".
It was the assigned Hornet of CAG Capt P.F. Rainey and DCAG Capt J.K. Cook.
I have included two "line" Hornets, one tail-coded "AC" from the same cruise aboard the USS Harry S. Truman,
the other a later Hornet, coded "VE", based at MCAS Beaufort. This one also has the legend: "Silver Eagles" painted
on the fuel tanks.

This fictional skin is a tribute to an Australian spitfire squadron that disbanded after Japan's surrender in 1945. The spitfires were painted with several distinguishing motifs including:
• "sharkmouth" under the nose
• "Grey Nurse" just forward of the cockpit
• "Ace of spades" on the rudder
The tribute includes a two-tone upper surface with subtle references to the unique details present on the spitfires.

This is a collection of three pilot flightsuit skins that can be selected using the custom cockpit selection menu. You can choose between the default (green) flightsuit, desert flightsuits for the US Navy and US Marine Corps, and a black flightsuit (sometimes worn by VFA-41). Select the flightsuit of your choice with the Custom Cockpit combo box on the F/A-18C Special tab in the DCS Options menu. Right_Shift + P should toggle the visible pilot by default.

I work with the VMFA-232 Line skin from ED. So all Credits for the complete Skin goes to ED.
I call it "red highlight" because on the red colored vertical stabilizer tips.
I added follwing points:

A21-49 appears as it did between January 2012 and February 2013, where it featured at the Australian International Airshow at Avalon in Victoria. In 2011, members from No. 77 SQN were asked to come up with a design to be painted on a Hornet to coincide with the Squadrons 70th Anniversary celebrations. The scheme was designed by 77 SQN personnel, LAC Nicholas Pearsall, CPL Aaron Somerville and SGT Chris Henderson.

"Chippy Ho!" was a Hornet with the US Navy's VFA-195 "Dambusters" and was assigned to Capt Brian Calhoun during
his time as CAG aboard the USS Independence.

My 6th mission for the Gazelle continues the storyline of my Operation: "Muzzlebrake" and Operation: "Golden Retriever". It is embedded in a fictional Turkish-Georgian conflict and requires you to slow down the Turkish advance on Batumi airport, untill Georgian reinforcements become available.
The mission is a pretty straight forward tank hunting mission and your co-pilot/mission commander will have some helpful advice to help you succeed. You can switch him off though and/or fly the mission your way - but as in all my missions, I warned you...
Mission contains about a dozen custom R/T voice files, briefing maps and dynamic elements.
Good knowledge of the Vivianne system is mandatory, as well as the knowledge how to start up the Gazelle from cold and dark. Low flying skills certainly will raise your chances of survival.

During a night patrol, one of our AH-1W was shot down by a rebel AA. One of the pilots survived the crash and needs extraction ASAP. Georgian forces prepared a Mi-8 to medevac the pilot, but first the area must be secured. A pair of F/A-18C (Enfield 3) will take care of the rebels and cover the chopper until he leaves the area. Our AO is clear of hostile aircrafts, do not enter russian territory (check briefing picture) or you will get shot. AWACS (Overlord) can be contacted in case you need.
