The fifth mission in the "Prelude" series. As invasion plans proceed,  the US Navy and Allied forces continue to ramp up operations after "The Prelude", "The Initial", "The Resolute", and attack on Kuh-e-Shab Mountain". You're on ready alert. It's 2 AM. Report comes in that a guided missile frigate  has become disabled on a reef after pursuing gunboats. Peppered initially by a few ground troops, spotter planes have just arrived and artillery and motorized armed convoys are expected to be called in to attack the disabled ship. With full moon conditions a quick strike is required. All efforts must be made to protect the disabled frigate from mechanized and emplaced artillery .

36+01 is based on MFG1 Panavia Tornado IDS camouflage scheme NORM 76
36+06 is based on MFG2 Panavia Tornado IDS camouflage scheme NORM 87e
36+25 is based on MFG2 F-104G Starfighter camouflage scheme NORM 62

MFG1 was inactivated in 1993 and its Tornados integrated into MFG2. MFG2 was inactivated in 2005.

The squadron was one of the first to respond to the September 11th, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. The squadron was decommissioned just three years later on September 11th, 2004.

Hi everyone

Found an old project of mine that I had not released. It is a SAAF 4 Squadron scheme for the A-10C.
It's based on the colours of the Atlas Impala Mk II, these skins may not be entirely complete I have not worked on them for ages.

I threw in a bonus low-viz scheme, the camo pattern is borrowed from Col.Flanders SAAF scheme. I'm too lazy to make my own.
The 4 Squadron logo was made by me though. I have a full on vector of it now if anybody needs it.

Our commander has order some much need R&R for this team and they are currently being transported away from the front lines via APC to OutPost 27B. Your mission is to fly from FARP Hollywood to Outpost 27B and transport the troops back to FARP Hollywood.  The FARP Commander has also invitee the families of the troops to welcome them home. <br />

Not long after takeoff does our pilot realize this is not going to be a simple back and forth troop transport mission.<br />

USAF 36th Fighter Squadron Skin for F/A-18C

This is the first skin I have ever made for any game ever, so I hope I'm not judged too harshly.  This is a fictionalized skin for the DCS Hornet module based on the F-16 livery donned by the 36th Fighter Squadron out of Osan Air Base.  Those of you who have ever played Falcon 4.0 I'm sure will recognize the skin.  I took some artistic liberties, namely the two-tone falcon swoop near the cockpit wasn't really gonna look right so I did my own interpretation of it, and also some non-artistic absolute pitfalls, like the absence of the horse image.

The liveries of the oldest Navy's squadron VFA-14.
We have already good late skins of VFA-14 from dino325. These ones are the early skins of VFA-14 when they were deployed on USS Nimitz. As VFA-14 is flying Super Hornets the common marking and insignia of them was used for these liveries as well as the marking of USS Nimitz.
Additionaly this pack contains a pretty fresh paint scheme from 2017. This one has the marking of USS John C. Stennis of course.

5 skins are included:
- standard one
- CO (commanding officers)
- high visibility
- high visibility BC (black canopy and another style of the nose numbers)
- bonus skin '2017

Just unpack the skins in \CoreMods\aircraft\FA-18C\Liveries\FA-18C_hornet and enjoy it!

Helios is a virtual cockpit simulator system for aircraft in the DCS World.  Release 1.6 is a major improvement over Helios 1.4 and the release has only made it to release by the Heroic efforts of derammo and his band of merry testers (you know who you are).

Helios can be downloaded from https://github.com/HeliosVirtualCockpit/Helios/releases

With Helios, you can create virtual cockpits, which allow you to increase your immersion in your favourite combat aircraft.  Helios profiles can be created to allow you to simulate switches, knobs, gauges and more complex instruments which can then be mapped into DCS to give you a much improved combat pilot experience.  Many people use a touch screen monitor with their virtual cockpits.   It is also possible to run the Helios cockpit on a remote PC.
Helios was originally created by Craig "Gadroc" Courtney.  Gadroc donated his code to the open source community and this code is currently delivered from the HeliosVirtualCockpit team

This is the fourth mission in the "Prelude" series. Continuing operations are ordered to ready the theater for full scale invasion of the southern Iran coast after Operations ("The Prelude", "The Initial", and "The Resolute") were successfully accomplished. An important impediment to the Allies air superiority is the established long range radar and communication facility on Kuh-e-Shab mountain manned by Iranian and Russian forces.<br /><br />
A" High Speed Low Level" mission is planned  to avoid multiple SAM sites and AAA radar .
