A template for Nellis afb in a departure wave. The AI traffic is dynamic and will be different every time you load the mission. This template makes it possible to start up your aircraft with roaring engines of other aircraft in the background. In this wave approximately 40 aircraft will depart but once again this changes per mission.
This mission also provides a bombing range, 2 tankers and radio chatter for extra immersion

1.  Unlimited fuel for wingman -  Script added so when wingman's fuel is below 50% internal tanks, the fuel level is frozen.  No more wingmen running out of fuel during a mission due to AI behaviour.  (If they use the tanker, the fuel will go to 100% and stay there).

2.  Adjusted some triggers and scripts for better gameplay.

3.  Changed version numbering to be similar to DCS version numbering.

Welcome to Red Flag Mission 1!  My goal in creating this mission is to simulate a realistic air to ground Red Flag mission for the new DCS AV-8B Harrier.  In order to fly this mission successfully, you’ll need to execute critical tasks, from hitting your timing points to low level flying to possible air to air combat.  

Make sure to read and familiarize yourself with the mission briefing and what’s expected of you before you enter the mission.  Things can happen fast in the air, so better to prepare on the ground!

Intermediate - Advanced Flying Difficulty! (No combat).

I wanted to make a mission to fly offline in Nevada map that gives the P51 some out back, off-track strips to takeoff and land. I created the strip, but having just 1 set of cones to land between soon became a little boring, so I decided to create 4 in different locations with a little backstory to make a mission out of it, then spruced it up a bit with details and moving trucks waiting for your deliveries, so I could share it with you!

*You are covering for the flying "mail man"
*Land at all 4 custom built strips along route.
*Estimated total time: 30minutes.
*All stops are custom built 2,000ft strips, over dirt terrain, marked by tyres.
*Terrain will be slightly uneven here and there, but each stop has been well tested to be accessible.
*Screen hints given along way re; Navigation (easy route) so you can focus on the flying / approaches etc.

Requires: P51 Module and Nevada map (aka Las vegas / NTTR)

Quick mission covering Cold Start- air to ground - air to air - Landing

Your F/A-18C squadron has been deployed at Creech AFB in Nevada to conduct a training exercise. At the beginning of the mission you will be able to choose between several missions such as GROUND ATTACK, SUPRESSION OF ENEMY AIR DEFENCES (SEAD), FREE FLIGHT and DISIMILAR AIR COMBAT TACTICS (DACT). You can also perform the mission alone or with an air escort as you wish.

This is a mission template with a lot modules, air and ground targets on the most realistic manner. The idea is to be the base for custom missions.

The Sidewinder low level course is a section of the R-2508 complex found in the south Mojave Desert area of California. The R-2508 is composed of at least 8 sections and it's flights are co-ordinated principally through Edwards AFB and China Lake NAS and is a large Military Operating Area (MOA). The Sidewinder route in the South East section centered on the Panamint Valley is used for high speed low level training by the USAF, USMC, and USN aircraft. Aircraft in this area fly between 200 feet AGL to FL18.<br />

The Sidewinder course is challenging and spectacular....and perhaps one day DCS will increase the resolution in this area and make China Lake Airfield active. What makes this area special is that it contains the aptly named Jedi Transition where aircraft can deviate from the clockwise flight plan and cut across the hills and down into the Panamint valley via a deep cut aptly named Star Wars Canyon. There is a parking area nearby called the Father Crowley lookout just off I190 and plane fans come out to catch a glimpses and photograph aircraft transiting through the canyon.  There are numerous youtube video's of aircraft going through the Star Wars canyon, which is really named Rainbow Canyon.
