On April 8, 2015, 2 C/F-18s along with 8 allied aircraft were tasked with bombing an ISIL garrison near the city of Raqqa, the self-declared capital of ISIL.

The strike was a success and no allied losses were reported.

Playtime: 1 hr.

Note: This recreation is pretty loose as detailed info is limited. It was a precision guided strike but I had to guess at pretty much everything else. I added the Tomahawks because an Arleigh Burke class ship was listed as one of the participants.

4 F-18s were tasked with bombing the H3 airbase in western Iraq. They were accompanied by 6 F-15s and a Hawkeye early warning aircraft. The number and types of aircraft on both sides, and the order of events are accurately represented but everything else (weather, distance/altitude, weapons, etc.) is my best estimate.

Buoyed by the successful airstrike on Mozdok airbase, Georgian and NATO forces have decided to up the pressure on the Western Front.
A surprise attack on Sochi-Alder airbase has been authorized. Georgian Special Forces will be inserted via helicopter to attack the base from the North and the East. A massive artillery barrage has already severely damaged the airbase. Your flight of 4 F18s will strike the base ahead of the ground forces as a diversion. 2 F16 flights perform SEAD actions in support.
Sochi-Alder is guarded by tanks, infantry, Manpads and a partial SA-3 SAM system.

The Russian invasion of Georgia started a few hours ago.The evacuation of NATO personnel has begun. There is a heavily armed column moving along the highway from Kaldahvara, heading towards our base at Gudauta. Flights of non-essential personnel and equipment to Sukhumi-Babushara have commenced.

We have a plan to stop the invasion cold. The column will have to cross 2 bridges en route to our base. If we can take out these bridges while the column is between them, we think they'll be trapped and paralyzed near the village of Mugudzyrhva. Then the Georgian air force can swoop in and strike.

Russia has purchased multiple USAF aircraft at an Iraqi yard sale. 4 A-10A's and 2 F-15C's are scheduled to be displayed as war trophies at a military parade tomorrow morning. A strike to destroy these aircraft has been authorized. Tonight, you and Chips will conduct that strike.

Deny Putin his prize.

A basic night strike mission against parked aircraft using PP and TOO bombing modes with a Case III landing.

It is my first so feedback is most welcome.

Russia has purchased multiple USAF aircraft at an Iraqi yard sale. 4 A-10A's and 2 F-15C's are scheduled to be displayed as war trophies at a military parade tomorrow morning. A strike to destroy these aircraft has been authorized. Tonight, you and Chips will conduct that strike.

Deny Putin his prize.

A basic night strike mission against parked aircraft using PP and TOO bombing modes with a Case III landing.

It is my first so feedback is most welcome.
