This sound mod edits the "PlaneFarNoise" sound and brings more realism to the game. This works for every aircraft even the World War II aircraft.

WARNING: This mod is extremely loud and awesome for Jet Fighters!

If you want to hear the sound at its fullest potential, kick it into full afterburner.

The liveries of the oldest Navy's squadron VFA-14.
We have already good late skins of VFA-14 from dino325. These ones are the early skins of VFA-14 when they were deployed on USS Nimitz. As VFA-14 is flying Super Hornets the common marking and insignia of them was used for these liveries as well as the marking of USS Nimitz.
Additionaly this pack contains a pretty fresh paint scheme from 2017. This one has the marking of USS John C. Stennis of course.

5 skins are included:
- standard one
- CO (commanding officers)
- high visibility
- high visibility BC (black canopy and another style of the nose numbers)
- bonus skin '2017

Just unpack the skins in \CoreMods\aircraft\FA-18C\Liveries\FA-18C_hornet and enjoy it!

Helios is a virtual cockpit simulator system for aircraft in the DCS World.  Release 1.6 is a major improvement over Helios 1.4 and the release has only made it to release by the Heroic efforts of derammo and his band of merry testers (you know who you are).

Helios can be downloaded from https://github.com/HeliosVirtualCockpit/Helios/releases

With Helios, you can create virtual cockpits, which allow you to increase your immersion in your favourite combat aircraft.  Helios profiles can be created to allow you to simulate switches, knobs, gauges and more complex instruments which can then be mapped into DCS to give you a much improved combat pilot experience.  Many people use a touch screen monitor with their virtual cockpits.   It is also possible to run the Helios cockpit on a remote PC.
Helios was originally created by Craig "Gadroc" Courtney.  Gadroc donated his code to the open source community and this code is currently delivered from the HeliosVirtualCockpit team
