Egyptian Air Force "MiG-17". Belonging to 89 Squadron, it was one of the squadrons involved in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Since we don't have the MiG-17 in DCS, the MiG-15 is a good substitute to represent it in this historical context.

Initially activated in 1975 as an element of the Osean Air Force Reserves flying the A-37 ‘Dragonfly’ light attack aircraft, the 475th ‘Jormungandr’ would quickly adopt their venerable A-10 ‘Thunderbolt’ attack aircraft in due time, and by 1987 would be a well known name in and outside of the AFRC and greater A-10 community.

Flown exclusively by Reserve pilots, these men and women represent some of the best of the best when it comes to implementation of their aircraft.

MISSION BRIEF: OPERATION STEADFAST (August 1940)
This is version 2 of the Battle of Britain dynamic PVE Channel mission against upto 64 bandits

Dynamic game play - a dice roll spawns threats along the coastline aimed at attacking airfields and radar position
PVE supports single player and multi-player (RAF side only at this stage)

•    Assets: WW2 Asset Pack

SITUATION:
The Luftwaffe has shifted its focus to the coastal radar stations and forward airfields of 11 Group. Intelligence suggests a series of massive, coordinated strikes launched from the French coastline. Our objective is to maintain air superiority over the Kent coast and prevent the destruction of vital infrastructure.

MISSION OBJECTIVE:
Scramble from RAF Lympne or RAF Hawkinge and intercept inbound enemy formations. You are cleared to engage all hostile aircraft entering British airspace.
