Führen Sie die Speerspitze einer massiven russischen Luftoffensive. In "Operation Steel Storm" übernehmen Sie die Rolle eines Su-27 Flanker Piloten mit einem kritischen Auftrag: Eskortieren Sie ein schweres Angriffspaket aus 12x A-10A Erdkampfflugzeugen bei einem riskanten Tiefflug-Angriff auf den stark verteidigten Flugplatz Gudauta.

Dies ist keine Standard-Mission. Sie geben den Startbefehl. Sie entscheiden über Erfolg oder Misserfolg des gesamten Geschwaders.

This aircraft represents a VMF-214 Corsair operating from the rough, coral-based airstrips of Bougainville during late 1943. Finished in the early-war U.S. Navy two-tone camouflage, the aircraft features Blue-Grey upper surfaces over Light Gray undersides. Fuselage number 740 is applied in large white numerals forward of the national insignia, consistent with Marine Corps practice within MAG-11 at the time. The paint finish reflects extensive operational wear from tropical exposure, frequent sorties, and field maintenance, resulting in a noticeably faded and uneven surface characteristic of front-line Corsairs in the Solomon Islands campaign.

This mod is a complete visual repaint of the F-16C cockpit for DCS World, developed over approximately one month. The objective is to present a factory-fresh cockpit appearance, featuring newly repainted surfaces, cleaned panels, and a well-maintained look consistent with a refurbished or newly delivered aircraft.

All primary cockpit textures have been completed and unified to ensure a clean, consistent visual standard across the entire cockpit. Weathering, wear, and grime have been intentionally minimized to maintain a pristine, modern aesthetic.

This project is currently a work in progress. While the core texture set is complete, further refinement, adjustments, and potential improvements may be made based on testing and user feedback.
