The Spitfire LF Mk IX is a single-seat, British fighter that was key to Allied domination of the skies in WW2. One of the most brilliant, beautiful and iconic aircraft of all time, the LF Mk IX was rushed into production in 1942 as a counter to the Focke-Wulf FW 190A, which until then had outperformed both earlier Spitfire variants and the Hawker Hurricane.
Fitted with the mighty Merlin 66 engine, the LF Mk IX proved to be much more than a stopgap measure: its sleek lines, excellent all-round handling and powerful armament helped Allied pilots gain the upper hand over the Luftwaffe. Four .303 in machine guns and twin 20 mm cannons made it a much-feared opponent in air combat.
The Spitfire LF Mk IX’s overall prowess and combat effectiveness helped the RAF go back onto the offensive, flying ‘circus’, ‘ramrod’, ‘rhubarb’ and ‘rodeo’ raids over occupied Europe.

Fly the legendary Spitfire LF Mk. IX over Normandy in June 1944 as the allies attempt to break out of the D-Day landing beachheads. Battle German forces in the air and on the ground as the allies push south over 12 missions south of the Juno and Gold landing beaches. The missions consist of a combination of armed reconnaissance, intercepts, and directed ground attacks.
For this campaign, we teamed up with the greatly respected "Bunyap", who has created an amazing level of detail and content for the briefings and historical background. All missions and flights in the campaign are based on actual missions down to the squadrons, targets, locations, times, weather, flak locations, etc. We believe this will be the most historically accurate portrayal of World War II air combat in a PC flight simulation.

The F-4 Phantom II is an American two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather, long- range supersonic jet interceptor and fighter-bomber originally developed by McDonnell Aircraft for the United States Navy. After entering service with the Navy in 1961, it became adopted by the United States Marine Corps and United States Air Force. Due to its high adaptability, versatility and for its time, unparalleled capabilities, it quickly turned into the main workhorse for all 3 branches and spread beyond the borders of the United States, going on to serve and protect 12 nations across the world, with Phantoms still in operation today. Its production ran from 1958 to 1981, and with nigh 5200 Phantoms built, it became the most produced supersonic US military aircraft in the history, solidifying its place as one of the most recognizable and well known aircraft of the cold war era.

DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3 (FC3) is the next evolution of the Flaming Cliffs series. FC3 features the F-15C, A-10A, Su-27, Su-33, MiG-29A, MiG-29S and Su-25. The J-11A aircraft featured is a Chinese variant of the Russian Su-27 with minor radar modifications and the ability to use R-77 active air-to-air missiles. FC3 aircraft provide an easy learning curve for new players and focuses on a broad range of aircraft rather than a detailed single aircraft. FC3 adds a number of new features and improvements to previous versions of the Flaming Cliffs series. FC3 is a module of DCS: World, which makes it compatible with all other DCS: World titles like A-10C, Black Shark 2, P-51D, and Combined Arms.

The Hawk first entered service with the RAF in 1976, both as an advanced flying-training aircraft and a weapons-training aircraft. The Hawk T1 version is currently used at RAF Valley for fast-jet pilot advanced flying training with No 208(R) Squadron, and at RAF Scampton by the RAF Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows.
The T1A is used for weapons and tactical training on No 19(R) Squadron at RAF Valley, and by No 100 Squadron at RAF Leeming for advanced fast-jet weapons systems officer training and operational support-flying. In its weapons and tactical training role the Hawk is used to teach air combat, air-to-air firing, air-to-ground firing and low-flying techniques and operational procedures.
