Inspired by the J-6III's smooth surface paint.
Chinese paint their planes with much more care than the Soviets. They painted the surface so smoothly as if the plane was made from polymer glass. Unfortunately, because of the 3D model, we can't hide all those rivets like their real-life counterparts.

Salut à tous, je vous propose ma première mission pour DCS:

Il s'agit de pénétrer en profondeur de nuit derrière les lignes ennemies avec deux MI 24 P pour déposer un commando qui est chargé de libérer deux officiers retenus prisonniers dans un QG des forces Georgiennes:
Vol nocturne donc utilisation des NVG
Pénétration en très basse altitude suivant un plan de vol précis pour tromper les défenses anti aériennes
1er MI 24P (joueur) : Infiltration et extraction du commando avec appui feu
2ème MI 24P: appui feu et extraction des otages
Installation:
Dans le dossier, sont inclus:
     -Le fichier "miz" à mettre dans le répertoire "single"
     -Le mod de Taccas que je me permet de partager : Taccas-DCS-NVG 1.4  (à utiliser avec JSGME)
     -Un petit mod que j'ai créé:  "ASP 17 light shut down" pour supprimer les lumières du viseur ASP 17 qui ne sont pas compatibles avec l'utilisation des NVG (à utiliser avec JSGME pour pouvoir le désactiver pour les missions de jour).

Insurgent Occupation - A short and simple DCS AH-64D Apache Mission [EASY]

A radical Islamic Terrorist Organization known as 'IRF' has occupied a valley near the Turkish/Syrian border.

They've setup a checkpoint, stormed surrounding villages and locked down the largest town in the valley, Armanāz, with heavy defenses.
They have taken control over the region and are setting up a weapons and arms turnaround point in town, presumably in order to push further towards the Turkish/Syrian border.

US ground troops have successfully advanced into the occupied villages, but they are unable to advance into the main town. They have requested Close Air Support.

The situation is tense, as it is unknown just how heavily the insurgents are armed.

The F-106 was a supersonic delta-winged interceptor in service with the OADF from the early 1960s to the early 1980s, used for both point defense and longer range interceptions. It carried three AIM-4 Falcon air-to-air missiles, and although integrating the AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9 Sidewinder was proposed the project never left the drawing board. It has noticeable similarities to the Emmerian-built Mirage III in performance and looks. Increasingly the Delta Dart is finding popularity as a warbird, with over 20 restored to airworthiness and seven more are in the late phases of restoration. One was controversially entered in the 2020 November City Air Races in the jet class, but regardless of the controversy surrounding supersonic aircraft it lost to an F9F-6 Cougar. The same aircraft was entered in later years but found itself against F-4s, MiG-21s, and even two F-14As in its new class

The F-14ADF was one of the rarest Tomcat variants produced with a total of 43 built, it was used by the OADF and the Air National Guard as a long-range 'patrol fighter' which freed up the F-106s and early F-16s for point defense interception. Much of the avionics are the same as the Navy's F-14A, but some parts have been either omitted entirely or stripped down to the bare essentials to improve speed and range. When later-model F-15s began to trickle down from frontline units to the Air National Guard the F-14ADF began being phased out. Most are in either museums or storage however two remain airworthy, one kept in the manufacturer's collection and displayed at the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Stockdale and the other as part of the OADF's Heritage Flight program

Updated Version: Russia has built up an expeditionary Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) in Syria. Russia intends to use this IADS to push the potential cost of continued US coalition involvement in Syria past the threshold of acceptable risk. On 03 OCT the Russian military deployed the S-300 (NATO reporting name: SA-23) air defence system to the Syrian naval base in Tartus. Russian forces already operate the S-400 (NATO reporting name SA-21 Growler) long-range air defence system, which has a claimed range of 400km, as well as the S-200 (SA-5 Gammon), in Syria. Russia also operates a number of short-range air defence systems, including the Pantsir-S1 and Buk missile systems, as well as the naval version of the S-300 a Slava-class guided missile cruiser in the Mediterranean. In addition to the IADS, Syrian forces operate the Bastion coastal defence system out of Tartus.

S-199.486, por. František Fořt, 1. letka, Letecký pluk 7, Brno-Černovice, Československo, 1950
Tohoto „Mezka“ zalétal tovární pilot Antonín Kraus 12. prosince 1949, 24. ledna 1950 byl letoun převzat vojenskou správou a 7. února téhož roku byl přidělen k LP 7 dislokovanému na letišti Brno-Černovice. Dostal kódové označení IV-8 a podle vzpomínek pamětníků a kroniky leteckého pluku také kresbu Diany s nataženým lukem. Autorkou kresby byla přítelkyně a později manželka zástupce velitele letky a velitele roje Františka Fořta. Podle pamětníků byly stejným emblémem opatřeny i stroje dalších dvou velitelů rojů, poručíků Jaromíra Jecha a Jiřího Váni. Jak je v kronice pluku uvedeno, různými emblémy bylo alespoň pro určitý čas opatřeno více strojů. Jsou v kronice dokonce nakresleny, není však jasné, k jakým konkrétním letounům se vztahují. Letoun byl již údajně opatřen nátěrem tmavší zelenou barvou na všech plochách. V té době příslušela letounům 3. letecké divize, pod kterou spadaly i brněnské LP 7 a LP 8, bílá barva vrtulového kužele. Ne všechny stroje však byly takto označeny a podle vzpomínek mezi ně pravděpodobně patřil také IV-8, jehož podoba bohužel není fotograficky doložena

Fighter Squadron 243 was Established in 1943 as Fighter Bomber Squadron 243. The "Shamrocks" as they were known would fly F4U Corsairs For much of their early career, Until upgrading to Jet fighters in the mid 1950s. In 1967, two F-4B Phantom II Fighters from VF-114 would shoot down a Sotoan MiG-21 that had intercepted and fired upon an Osean P-3 conducting Freedom of Navigation exercises in the region.

In 1974, VF-243, along with their sister squadron VF-206 'Shorebirds', would transition to the F-14A, a process taking two years to complete. By 1976 however they would rejoin Carrier Air Wing 8 with VF-206 Aboard the OFS Pelican. In 1994 with the retirement of the Pelican, 243 and 206 would be transferred aboard the brand new OFS Kestral flying with Carrier Air Wing 7, and flying combat missions supporting the vessel during the Belkan War.

One such unit, the 196th Fighter Wing from Bana's ANG, became among the most active OADF fighter units of the Circum-Pacific War, downing over 120 enemy aircraft and dropping over 200 tons of ordnance throughout the course of the conflict. This aircraft, tail number 94-0902, was flown by Lt. Col. Mark "Coyote" Whitfield and was the plane in which he became an ace, downing five Yuktobanian fighters plus an assist over the course of one week

DK333/HS-F 'The Grim Reaper' of No.109 Squadron, flown by Flight Officer Harry B Stephens and Frank Ruskell DFC.

On January 27th 1943, DK333 was one of the first Mosquitos to carry and drop ground target indicators during a bombing raid. The aircraft flew with No.105, 139, and 192 Squadrons, and was discharged from service on 30 May 1945.

Custom camoflage and stencils were created with the help of reference images of the Flying Heritage Museum's Mosquito, painted up to represent UP-J. Brush stroke effects were added to the markings on the aircraft wh ere appropriate, most noticeably on the roundels, as well as the effect commonly seen on airbrushed liveries (like this one's) IRL where the edge is significantly more matte than the surrounding paint.

This version has swastika kill marks replaced with the Iron Cross.

The RAAF MB-339A Pack includes 12 individual paint schemes heavily inspired by the MB-326H in RAAF service. These schemes imitate aircraft from the 1980s to 1990s period. The RAAF operated the rather similar predecessor to the MB-339A, the MB-326H for many years from 1967 to 2001, making this pack semi-fictional.
