The Soviet government is outraged after the loss of control in the Georgian Republic, and they blame TF Challenger directly for interfering a domestic affair within the Soviet Union. The Premier is also furious on his cabinet and his Flag Officers for not quelling the bigger threat against the two forces in Georgia. As a knee-jerk response, he ordered his Black Sea Fleet to begin the hunt against the carrier group before they reach the mouth to the Marmara Sea, in Turkey.
