The 47th Flying Training Wing was Established in 1968 to provide pilot training for the West Clavis Air Force. In years that followed, other Osean Ally nations would send both students and instructors to Mitchell Air Force Base in Harwood, Osea, for Undergraduate Pilot Training.

Since 1996, a Staff of mostly Osean, Emmerian, and North Point instructors teach a student body from the Usean continent, Janosia, West Clavis, and Aurelia, as well as Ustio, Sapin, Osea, North Point, and Emmeria all go through the rigorous undergraduate pilot training in AT-29’s and then TF-5E ‘Tigers’.

The Two primary TF-5E Squadrons for the 47th are 495th Flying Training Squadron ‘Spearheads’ and 496th FTS ‘Black Cats’.

Following the Belkan War, the OADF saw a critical need for a dedicated security force for the Eaglin Strait, a vital waterway leading to the heart of Osea. With the massive purchase of aircraft from Yuktobania in 1997, the North Gate Air National Guard established the 89th Tactical Fighter Squadron with the Su-27 ‘Flankers’ as their primary air defense for the area.

Notable for being a front-line non-aggressor unit, the Red Dragons Aircraft were one of the first units to engage Yuktobanian incursion in 2010 while defending the Osean 3rd Fleet transiting the strait, ironically surviving the burst-missile attack due to the same fuel shortcomings that hindered their later deployments.

Today the 89th still act as watchful guardians to the entrance of the strait, along with the other state guard units assigned to the Strait’s security.

Established following the start of the Continental War, the 18th Fighter Squadron was made primarily up of surviving pilots whose squadrons had been decimated in the initial Erusean assault. With Su-33s gifted from Osea, the Warlocks would be assigned to the ISAF Northern theater, and participate in air raids against St Ark and Port Edwards, eventually ending their march at Stonehenge Days prior to the end of the war.

Afterwards, the Squadron would be rolled back into the Ugellas Air Force under the 1st Fighter Wing. They would then participate in the multinational Air Mission in defense of the International Space Elevator across the Gulf from Ugelles’ Shores. During the Erusean-Osean War, the Warlocks would retreat from ISEV, and spend the war enforcing the nation's neutrality in the conflict.

With the large purchase of aircraft in 1997, the OADF had little need for the Su-24 ‘Fencer’ due to the F-111 ‘Aardvark’ already filling the super-sonic tactical bomber role, This opened multiple states to adopt the fighter instead into their reserve components, one of which being North Gate with the 260th Tactical Fighter Squadron ‘Pale Horse’.

Accepting the aircraft in 1998 to replace older F-4D Phantoms in the inventory, the Pale Horses would operate around the Eaglin Strait, while not directly assigned to the waterway’s security mission. During the Continental War that broke out in 2003, the 260th was one of many units deployed to Usea to ensure security of Osean interests in the region, and notably would first face combat on the Su-24’s homeland of Yuktobania in 2010 during the Circum-Pacific War. Alongside F-111’s of Oseas Air Combat Command, Su-24’s from Pale Horse would drop laser-guided ordinance on Yuktobanian targets in Jilachi and on the outskirts of Cinigrad before the

The 210th Airlift Squadron ‘Rhinos’ is a unique unit within the Air Defense Force. While the concept of a Total Force Unit isn't unheard of, or particularly rare within the Air Force Reserve, the 210th has a unique status of one of the few AFRC/ANG Joint Squadrons. While the aircraft, IL-76MDs, are owned by the host-state of North Gate, the Airmen who work and fly the jets are both in the Guard or Reservist components, with a small handful of active-duty personnel.

The other interesting aspect to the ‘Rhinos’ is their choice of airframe. With the end of combat in 1996, Osea moved to better relations with their longtime economic foe Yuktobania. In the largest purchase of foreign built aircraft for the OADF saw many Reservist and State Guard units with a sudden influx of new aircraft to replace their timed out airframes. Replacing their C-141s, the Squadron found the aircraft useful shortly after completing the transition with the planetfall of the Ulysses Asteroid.

Established in 2024, the 77th Aggressors Squadron ‘Hunters’ is a Air Force Reserve Command “Total Force Concept '' squadron based out of Arixo Air Force Base in Baja Cineloa, Osea.

Being a Total Force Concept unit, allows for both active duty, and reservist pilots to be assigned to and work within the squadron to support its day to day mission of supporting Fighter Training at the Base, as well as local adversary training to nearby units.

Due to the fixed nature and desirable duty station, to be considered to fly in the Squadron requires a candidate to have completed the Weapons School instructor course, with preference towards those who completed a tour as an instructor, or those who have been in aerial combat. As a result, most pilots within the squadron are ‘lifers’, with few joining before their ten year mark of service.

At any given point, The 77th can operate alone, or with contract Red Air aircraft to create a variety of scenarios for the Student pilots at Arixo,

Despite sharing a designation with another OADF Squadron, the history and Lineage of the 545th Fighter Squadron actually ties into the 1125th Tactical Fighter Squadron established in the 1980s and serving until right after the 1995 Belkan War.Flying F-4G Phantoms in the ‘Wild Weasel’ role, the squadron would be stood down due to sequestration following the war.

Following the 2010 Circum-Pacific War however, the OADF Air Combat Command saw a need for a ‘quick reaction force’ that could be rapidly deployed to support Osean operations world-wide when Local forces may not have the capabilities. Along with the 65th FS And 94th TFS, the Dragons would be assigned to the 57th Fighter Wing out of Owens Air Force Base to provide vital air superiority anywhere within 48 hours.

The first combat the Wing would see would be during the 2019 Lighthouse War, where 545th FS aircraft would conduct SEAD Missions in the southern part of the continent, supporting IUN-PKF Air efforts in the region.

In any modern conflict it has found itself in, the F-16 Has proven itself worthy of the title of multirole. Amongst the men and women whose work earned it such a honor is those of the 115th Fighter Squadron ‘Shooting Stars’.

Despite their long history assigned to Homer Air Force Base in Pacifica, the Stars have deployed across the world, including as near as Oseas eastern front with Belka in 1995, to Verusea in 2010, and Central Usea in 2019.

As the backbone of the 169th Fighter Wing, the Stars have done nearly every mission from CAP to CAS in combat operations. Along with the 405th TFS ‘Superstars’ and 582nd TFS ‘Star Killers’, the 115th FS is a formidable force to trifle with, and to do so would be as helpful as wishing on a star.

After the establishment of the Osean Air Defense Force, the 405th became a persistent presence in the Pacific, often going on long assignments protecting the Solo and Sand Islands from foreign Incursion.

Today, stationed on the Mainland in Pacifica, the 405th is the primary air superiority squadron for the region, a mission that put the Superstars on a track to earn their name during the Osean Yuktobanian war.

Activated alongside the 545th Fighter Squadron and 94th Tactical Fighter Squadron in 2011, the 65th Fighter Squadron ‘High Rollers’ are a part of the OADF Air Combat Commands Quick Reaction Force. Garrisoned at Owens Air Force Base, the men and women of the 57th Fighter Wing are capable of being anywhere worldwide within 48 hours to support local forces in a given region.

Tracing its lineage through the A-10 Squadron of the same name, the unit’s history includes fighting in conflicts dating back to the 1950’s and the start of the jet age, before adopting the A-7 and later A-10 for a more ground-attack focused role.

Today the High Rollers are capable of any mission set for the F-16C, while still hearkening back to their ground-attack roots as seen with their operations in the 2019 Lighthouse War, which saw the 65th performing overhead escort duties to Osean & IUN Forces in Usea.

The final F-15C unit within the Air Education Training Command, the Golden Eagles represent a fading legacy for the once ubiquitous air superiority fighter. Having been primarily stationed in Milford Air Force Base, in 2023, the squadron would be transferred and relocated to the 56th Fighter Wing at Arixo Air Force Base.

Despite the change in climate, both in temperature and culturally as the lone F-15 unit at an F-16 base. The squadron still consistently exceeds student readiness when graduated pilots transfer to active duty squadrons worldwide.

Many Golden Eagle graduates have gone onto become notable war heroes in Oseas recent past, and it is anticipated that in the near future the Golden Eagles may once again deliver Oseas next champion.

The long-term defenders of the Eaglin Strait, the 88th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the Eaglin Air National Guard have protected Osea’s primary waterway from airborne threats since the war in the 1940s.

The Squadron came to some prominence during the 2010 Circum Pacific War, when they were nearly entirely wiped out during Operation Whalebird, the disastrous rendezvous of the Osean carriers Kestrel, Vulture, and Buzzard. F-15’s from the 88th TFS Assisted the Carrier Air Wings of the fleet against a Yuktobanian surprise attack, until the unit’s aircraft and pilots were all caught in the Ballistic missile attack that followed, taking the lives of dozens of Osean pilots.

Following the war, the squadron would receive a mixture of new F-15C’s, as well as aircraft from disestablished aggressor squadrons, to continue their mission of vigilant overwatch of the main artery to the Inland Sea.

With the arrival of F-16s in 1980. Two years later the 113 Tijgers swiftly transitioned from NF-5s in 1982. In 1995, it was the squadron's first deployment during the Belkan War. In 2006, the squadron was deployed again to assist the IUN during the Continental War. Their last deployment was in 2019 when the squadron contributed to the Lighthouse War.

The 113 Tijgers are based in Oost-Sousburg in the province of Zeeveld. The squadron is also assigned QRA duties. During peacetime, the squadron spends a lot of time training and participating in international exercises. The Tijgers had many notable pilots including: Sven “Zaag” van Vugt, Gijs “Grizzly” de Beer, Rutger “Scammer” de Man and many more.

Making up The Air Component to the Royal Nordlands Navy, the pilots assigned to 511, 513, 514, and 515 squadrons are vital in humanitarian missions and naval security for the Kingdom.

The 511 ‘Zeemeeuwen’ Squadron, flying E-2C Hawkeye AEW Aircraft, were vital in tracking Ulysses Fragments during planetfall in 1999 along with dozens of other nations Airborne assets. Following this, the 515 ‘Jutters’ flying CH-53’s were deployed with the Nordlands’ carrier  the Zr.Ms Jan Van Tol to drop much needed humanitarian supplies and render aid into Farbanti in the days that followed the meteor strike that destroyed much of the city.

The 514 Squadron 'Vuurtorens' make up the backbone of the fleet's air arm, flying the UH-1H, 514 is responsible for Search and Rescue, as well as limited Anti-submarine and personnel transfer between ships in the fleet.

With the Transfer of the 161st Fighter Squadron to the 224th Wing, and questions surrounding Oseas continued use of the F-16 in the near future, many were not optimistic regarding the 56th Fighter Wing, and by extent, Arixo Air Force Base's fate with force wide post-war reductions looming.

Fortunately, these fears would be proven unfounded, as at the end of 2023, it was announced by the Air Education Training Command that a force wide restructuring would see the 56th FW Gain both the 97th “Red Spades” and 309th “Lightning Riders” Fighter Squadrons from Addison Air Force Base, but the 30th Tactical Fighter Squadron “Golden Eagles” as well to cover continued F-15C training.

To support such efforts, the Air Combat Command and Air Force Reserve Command activated the 77th Aggressors Squadron to facilitate future pilot training, with stated goals towards rehosting the Chaldea Exercises at the base.

Today, and in the future, all roads for OADF F-16 crews will pass through Arixo.

While established in 1977, the 254th ‘Road Runners’ trace their lineage back to the 1940s with the 2774th Fighter Group of the same name, which flew P-47 Thunderbolts in the Ground attack role against Belkan forces during the conflict. Now, eighty years later,  the OA-10s of the 245th bear similar markings and the notable red and white checkered pattern to honor their tank busting heritage.

As a Tactical Air Support Squadron, the Road Runners Primary mission is Forward Air Control, marking targets for other A-10s to attack. While not officially used, the term ‘Fast FAC’, adorns many pieces of squadron esprit de corps, in reference to the first pilots assigned to the 254th who had been Fast FAC F-4 pilots during Verusea.

Today the Road Runners operate out of Shiloh, and have deployed both in Yuktobania and Verusea to support OADF operations in both theatres.

Relics of a bygone era, the 582nd ‘Star Killers’ are the last vestiges of both an antiquated Mission and aircraft. However due to logistics and training bottlenecks, the OADF required a more advanced SEAD Aircraft to take the role. The F-4CJ, with more advanced avionics and a larger engine was quickly rolled out as a stop gap.

Following the war, most Wild Weasel squadrons transferred their CJs into Air National Guard service, with the exception of the Star Killers. While some question the capabilities of the aging airframe, as well as the limited continued use of the F-4 Phantom. Proponents of the squadron cite their quick response abilities when the

Flying the MB-339, the students learn basic airmanship, as well as intro into tactics and aircraft employment that are transferable to most of the fixed wing aircraft the RNLAF flies.

As Students progress through the 24 week syllabus, some students will advance to the Allied-Joint-Jet-Pilot-Training (AJJPT) Program hosted in Osea, while others will learn their aircraft placements later on. Outside of that program, all students have equal opportunity to end up in the front-line fighter units, or the backbone of the Air Support Command. With the independence of the Republic of Ustio in the late 20th Century, multiple formerly Belkan Air Force units were folded into the newly formed Ustio Air Force. The 119th AFU was composed of the Belkan Air Force F-16s primarily from the 225th Tactical Fighter Squadron, with pilots made up of locally trained volunteers and former Belkan nationals that had been patriated into Ustio’s Military.

During the war, the Squadron was moved east into Ratio with the fall of most of the country of Ustio, and placed under the command of the 12th Air Division. From here with multinational support, the 119th ‘Knightriders’, along with the rest of the Ustio Air Force, would fly countless missions to retake their country, and then would fly further north into Belka.

Today the Squadron operates on Osea’s western border, and has participated in multiple joint-operations with the OADF Since the Belkan War.

Hailing from Shiloh, the capital of the Osean State of Kenton, the “10 of Spades'' Squadron is one of the few Mirage F-1 operators left within the Air Defense Force. Despite its advanced age and overall limitations, the 110th Fighter Squadron proved that the F1 was still an effective fighter during the defense of Shiloh in the opening minutes of the Lighthouse War.

As Erusean MQ-99 drones attacked the city and its infrastructure, two Mirage F1s launched and intercepted the CUAVs, and in using their superior climb and speed advantages, were able to down the Erusean aircraft using slash attacks against the smaller subsonic aircraft.

Despite initial successes, the Squadron would remain in Shiloh during the remainder of the conflict, though their successes have positioned them to receive the F-35A in 2030 with the full retirement of the Mirage F1.

A controversial unit within the Air National Guard Bureau, the 192nd Fighter Squadron had a long standing history of near open corruption since its inception since 1940. First to gain any new aircraft, and with pilots chosen more for Political connections instead of merit. Everything came to ahead in 1990 when the squadron established itself as the primary escort for the Osean President, dubbing themselves as "The Presidents Guardians" - much to the ire of the rest of the Air Defense Force.

The Squadrons loyalties however were scrutinized following the attempted Coup D'etat at the end of the Circum Pacific War, between security failures surrounding then-President Harling and his administration. The Organization was disbanded with all personnel assigned discharged from military service.

In 2015 the unit  would be reactivated under tight scrutiny from the OADF leadership. Personnel would be rotated in from both Active and Guard units, while keeping the Head of State escort mission.

Unlike most units that were granted to the States from the Osean Air Defense Force’s existing squadrons, the 170th Air Refueling Squadron was instead granted to Kenton in 1972 from a fellow States Air National Guard component. Stood up in 1956 for the Nassau Air National Guard, the Gargoyles started life flying the KC-97, before transitioning to the KC-135 in 1962. With the Nassau Air Guard wanting to focus on becoming a fighter force to support the Oured Air Guard, the OADF was at an impasse still wanting to keep a localized tanker force available. Kenton Air Guard, looking to expand its own wing, petitioned the OADF to move north to the heartland.

Now assigned to the 122nd Wing in Shiloh, the Gargoyles would act as a critical support element to fighter training from nearby bases. In 1995, the Gargoyles would be one of the many squadrons deployed to Osea’s Eastern border to support the ongoing war effort, and would fly multiple sorties over Ustio during the conflict.

Following the dissolution of Oseas primary Aggressors squadron, the role of an affordable offensive counter-air asset became all the more vital to OADF Readiness. As a result the 552nd AGRS was reactivated to fill this vital niche.

To even be considered for the Squadron, a pilot must have completed an instructor tour at Fighter Weapons School at Newburg Air Force Base. The second F-16 Squadron assigned to the 224th Fighter Wing in Roca Roja was a controversial choice for the OADF leadership. Historically the 161st Fighter Squadron had been one of the primary instructional units for pilots assigned to the F-16 airframe, and for the past fifteen years had been the hosts of the Chaldea Exercise held at Arixo Air Base yearly. When asked about it, Squadron Commander Major Diamante McCue explained “Whether we like it or not, the F-16 is on its way to replacement in the coming decade. Already three historic Viper squadrons have replaced their aging airframes with the newer and more capable F-35. The way I see it, the Desperados going out as an operational squadron is the best case scenario. And while our day may come soon for the final flight of the F-16, while we’re out here we're going to make a difference and show what the Vipers can really do.”

With the establishment of the 224th Fighter Wing in Roca Roja, Usea, The Gorgons made were transferred to their second wing assignment in as many years. Following their middling performance during the Lighthouse War, Osean Air Defense Force Chief Of Staff General Mike Dugan personally relieved the Squadron’s former commander of command and subsequently had the unit deactivated citing a ‘severe loss of confidence’ following a near forty five percent attrition rate of pilots in the opening hours of the Eruseans attack in May of 2019 on bases in Osea. The unit would only stay dormant for a year though with a reactivation and new leadership in March of 2022. Now on the heels of reactivation and transfer into active duty. The Gorgons have made the shift from the 27th Fighter Wing into the 224th as the first of two all-weather multi-role units assigned into the 225th Fighter Group.

The 411th Tactical Fighter Squadron 'Griffins' were established at the onset of the Osean War in 1940 as the 411th Pursuit Training Squadron , training aircrews in basic fighter combat. Following the end of the war, the unit was granted to the Califia Air National Guard out of Naval Air Station St Hewitt in 1946. Following a tumultuous early history of neglect, culminating in the entire Califian Air National Guard to have direct oversight fr om the Air Defense Force as a whole, the unit would enter the jet age in 1955, and become a lethal force with their adoption of the F-4C Phantom in the mid 1960s.

In the 1980's the Unit would transfer into the F-16A, and fly them throughout the Belkan War until 2000, with the Addition of the 408th TFS Allowing for the Griffins to transfer into the F-15C. The unit would gain notoriety during the Circum-Pacific war wh ere their fighters would help defend Port St Hewlett from Yuktobanian Attack.

With the conclusion of the Belkan War, Osea and its Allies were left with an overabundance of captured fighters from the defeated Belkan Air Force. Following the Sale of Many squadrons of Mig-21 and Flanker series aircraft to Oseas neighbor Ustio, the OADF was left in a peculiar situation, having over forty Mig-29 Fulcrums with no buyer or need for the aircraft. The answer came from North Oseas military Governor, Lieutenant General Nathan Ozawa.

It was under his recommendation that a new Fighter Wing be hosted in North Osea for the future security of the reason, using existing resources available. On December 8th 1997 the 177th Fighter Wing was formally established with two squadrons, the 173rd Fighter Squadron “Falke” flying the 28 MiG-29A fighters, and 96th Fighter Squadron “Adler” flying the dozen more advanced MiG-29G fighters.

After the Royal Nordlands Air Force phased out their Hawker Hunters in 1968, the squadron was deactivated. However, following the conclusion of the Belkan War, the RNLAF recognized the strategic significance of a dedicated strike squadron. In 1997, two years after the war's end, the RNLAF introduced its first F-15E aircraft. Towards the close of 1997, after 29 years of dormancy, the 114 Squadron was reactivated, now equipped with F-15E Strike Eagles.

The squadron's first operational deployment occurred nine years later during the Continental War. The "Bliksemrijders," as they are known, played a pivotal role in various combat missions throughout the conflict. The capabilities of the F-15E Strike Eagles were fully utilized, marking a triumphant return to active service for the squadron.

Established initially in 1956 as the 181st Fighter Interceptor Squadron flying F-104C Starfighters, the Unit would be active duty deploying multiple times across the world including during the Clavis Conflict. However by 1978, budgetary restrictions meant the closure of many Starfighter Squadrons and the unit would not be reactivated until 2003 when the Pacifica Air National Guard was granted a new Fighter Squadron to ensure air security around Osea's westernmost state. Flying the F-16C, the Squadron's primary area of responsibility is in the coast and outlying islands of Osea in the Pacific. The Squadron came to prominence in 2010 during the Circum Pacific War, where forward deployed members of the "Spartans' ' would run combat air patrols around more vulnerable islands, generally outside of the range of Traditional Air Bases. Today, the Squadron is hosted with the rest of the 154th Wing at Homer AFB in Pacifica City, Pacifica.

With the adoption of the F-16 by the Royal Nordlands Air Force, an agreement would be signed between Osea and the Kingdom for the training of the latters fighter pilots. Initially done with the 410th Fighter Squadron ‘Kickin Ass’ out of Seneca ANG, With the loss of their F-16 mission in 2000, the RNLAF would instead begin work with the Baja Cineloa ANG for F-16 training.

After pilots finish IUN Joint Jet Pilot Training (IJJPT) at Mitchell Air Force Base, They are sent to Southern Osea for six months to finish their syllabus on the F-16. Currently The 148th has eight F-16s on loan from the RNLAF for Training. After their Six month indoctrination into the aircraft, students are sent back to Nordlands for either the 113 ‘Tigers’ or 116 ‘Knights’ Squadrons, making the primary backbone of the RNLAFs Fighter force.

Established in 1965, the 148th Fighter Squadron “Fightin Wrens” would start flying three F-104s of their neighboring unit, the 195th Airlift Squadron, before receiving additional obsolete F-86s Sabres later that year. Despite their lackluster equipment and meager facilities, the Wrens would prove to be a capable unit, achieving remarkable results during practice drills, and winning a coveted ‘Best of the South’ award in 1970, usurping Califia for the title they had held since 1958.

with a brief transition in the 1970s to the A-7D, in the mid 1980s the Wrens would start flying the F-16, eventually seeing combat deployments in 1995 during the Belkan War. Wren F-16’s would fly combat air patrols along the frontline, earning multiple victories during the conflict against Belkan fighters. In 2000, the OADF announced that the 148th would pivot from Combat to Training, taking over the role of training Foreign Military Sales customers in the early F-16A’s Osea had begun to sell off.

After the momentous security failures by various existing Air National Guard squadrons during the 2010 Circum Pacific war, Many states demanded better means to counter threats than had been provided. At the same time the Osean Military was facing existing scrutiny and with massive cuts looming, OADF Command saw a way to keep units active, while - on paper- shrinking the overall size of the military.

In 2012, the 312th Fighter Squadron “Scorpions” was transferred from Active Duty with the 57th Fighter Wing to the Baja Cineloa Air Guard’s 164th Fighter Wing. Today, they assist in providing security to the State, and even saw a deployment during the 2019 Lighthouse War to help deter Erusean Aggression to Osea’s allies in the region.

In 2022, the Squadron received the first of its Have Glass V upgraded Block 50 F-16C’s and will be expected to start phasing out older jets by 2023.

Dating back to the 1940s, the Buldoggen had actually been a unit of Osean origin. During economic downturn in the 1930s, many Osean veterans retreated to Nordlands for the better quality of life and economic certainty than they had faced in their homeland. When hostilities broke into open war in 1939, the Nordland crown was ill equipped to refuse the volunteer force he found in his adopted population. Due to its makeup of primarily expatriate Oseans, the “Bulldog” Squadron was operated more as a paramilitary force, then a legitimate arm of the Nordlands Army Aviation Brigade. Nevertheless, armed with Spitfires donated through a foreign Benefactor,  the Bulldogs would help enforce Nordlands sovereignty in the conflict against its aggressive neighbors alongside the rest of The Kingdoms military.

The Units unique culture and sacrifices would be memorialized with the integrated 117 Squadron ‘Buldoggen’ in the newly founded Royal Nordlands Air Force in 1951

Stood up following the revolution that first toppled the Erusean Monarchy, the Rawhides always found themselves on the frontier lands. Rarely stationed at conventional bases, the unit became exceptional at field maintenance and consistently exceeded readiness goals, even during war time.

During the Continental War in 2004, the Squadron would be deployed to the captured Istas Fortress, and would mount a costly defense of the base against ISAF Air Raids until forced to retreat by the approaching army. While most of the unit would be captured along with its surviving aircraft, it would remain active through the transition period with the return of the Monarchy.

In 2019, during the Lighthouse War, the unit would once again find themselves deployed in harsh conditions, this time protecting the vital supply base in Roca Roja, Eastern Usea. Following Operation One Pair, the squadron would be depleted by the Osean Counter-Air that had been sent in the strike.

As one of the few Emmerian Air Force units permanently stationed on the Khesed Island, the 120th Fighter Intercept Squadron plays a critical role in the defense of Emmeria’s western coast. While most of their air taskings are interceptions of suspicious air traffic along the Strait, they do stand as an alert squadron to counter any potential hostile force that approaches the nations air space.

Since the mid 1980’s, the squadron has flown and mastered the specially modified F-16 Air Defense Fighters, though with the airframes continuing to build up hours and age related fatigue, the National Guard Bureau has slowly begun phasing the Vipers out for the newer produced Mirage 2000 interceptor fighters. However, budgetary concerns have limited the amount of aircraft provided, as well as the more advanced Super 350 BVR missile to the squadron, leaving them with AIM-7 Sparrows of questionable reliability flown on aircraft with service careers rivaling some of Emmeria’s senior most officers.

Following the end of the Circum-Pacific War, it was made somewhat clear that the Osean Air Defense Force was incapable of handling localized threats to the country, as seen with the attacks in Apito, and Bana, as well as full blown assaults elsewhere in the country. As a result a multitude of states set aside budgetary items to reinforce their own National Guard bureaus.

The Manalopan Parliament had a novel idea in aircraft selection when the OADF granted the 184th Fighter Squadron to the state's National Guard. A competition between the F-16, Typhoon and Mirage was held, with Parliamentary leaders choosing the Typhoon for the organization.

Entering IOC in late 2017, the “Hooligans” are still an inexperienced Squadron, and have been eager to prove themselves in combat.

While derogatory comments could be made about the work ethic of those assigned to the 121st Fighter Intercept Squadron, what cannot be challenged or derided is the combat ability of the Copperheads Vipers and Mirages.

Stationed at Enzio Air National Guard base in the deserts north of Gracemeria, the 121st has proven time and again to be one of the most combat-effective squadrons within the Air National Guard, challenging the likes of active duty units such as of the 1st or 8th Air Divisions.

Pilots assigned to the Copperheads enjoy a more relaxed nature of the reservist squadron, allowing many the flexibility and stability of civilian life along with their military duties. In every military readiness drill though, the 121st has been able to rise to the occasion, and time will tell if this streak will continue into a real conflict.

Not earning their way into any history books, the 155th ‘Razorback’ have been a long standing unit within the Erusean Air Force. Like many squadrons, they can trace their roots to the Royal Erusean Flying Corps. During the first Erusean Civil War that saw the ousting of the Monarchy, the Razorbacks found themselves in the Federal Erusean Air Force, where they participated in the expansion and Annexation of Erusea's smaller neighbors and former vassal states.

During the Continental War, the Razorbacks were apart of the Erusean push across the continent, earning some victories against the scattered ISAF member state air forces before facing a total defeat at the wars end.

Despite force restructuring, the Razorbacks would remain active throughout the Lighthouse War, when details on the squadron's status are questionable at best, with Loyalist and Radical forces using Razorbacks Fighters during the Civil War that came after.

Established in 1958 flying F-86 Sabres, the 358th Tactical Fighter Squadron, known as the "Trojans," emerged as a stalwart defender of Stratus skies. Over the next ten years, the unit rapidly evolved, flying the F-100 Super Saber and later F-4 Phantom by the start of the 1970s. During the Adamas Crisis, the Trojans would be deployed along Oseans northern border with Belka, taking over Patrol responsibilities in the region from the OADF Units that had been transferred south to support the operations.

In 1986, the Squadron would trade their Phantoms for F-15 Eagles, which they would fly throughout the Belkan and later Circum Pacific Wars, with multiple pilots earning awards such as the Distinguished Flying Cross.

The Squadron was slated to receive brand new F-15EX’s by 2018, however production issues pushed the acquisition to 2020, allowing the final F-15C sorties of the Trojans to be flown in combat during the Lighthouse war.

Born from the Norvograd Aviation School, the 470th Fighter Aviation Regiment was established in 1988 flying the then State-of-the-art F-16 Fighter. Attached to the 24th Air Army, the Regiment would be one of the youngest units in the Yuktobanian Military to earn the coveted ‘Guards’ title following their performance during the brutal 'Oprichnina' campaign in the Early 1990s that effectively ended the Verusean Insurrection that had gripped the southern parts of the nation.

The Unit would live up to their title in 2010 during the Circum-Pacific War, effectively stalling Osean ground efforts in the Northern regions of the Continent and becoming the named target of at least two Osean Air Raids on bases the 470th was stationed at during the conflict.

Today they remain at the edges of the Razgriz Strait, as watchful Guardians over their Motherland.

While the Amberian Armed Forces largely fell into a considerable guerrilla force after a week thanks to the foresight of the military leadership, some forces had their own overt roles to play in Operation Marid. Along with a handful of other units, as well as the surviving civil government, the 190th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, otherwise known as the Jinn, would be the public face of a seemingly defeated country.

While not as glorious as the actions their fellow countrymen were participating in on the homefront, the Jinn were critical in selling the idea to the Erusean leadership about the total capitulation of the Republic of Amber, whose remaining military consisted of early cold-war relics.

A mainstay of Carrier Aviation, VF-14 Would split from their longtime sister squadron VF-616 “Gargoyles” at the turn of the century. Leading Carrier Air Wing 23 aboard the OFS Barbet, the Snakes would deploy on a cruise to Usea in 2005, to protect Osean interests in the region from the ongoing conflict in the region.

During the Circum-Pacific War, the Squadron was still in its training phase and was relegated to shore duty, while their Carrier would be lost in the conflict. CVW-23 would transfer aboard the surviving OFS Hubert until 2015 with the commissioning of the OFS Barbet, another Hubert-class Supercarrier. During the Lighthouse War, VF-14 Would transfer along with other CVW-23 Elements aboard OFS Vulture, participating in various combat missions during the conflict.

Today, the Snakes exist as a relic, one of the final F-14B squadrons in the fleet, as well as a pending unit closure may make this storied Squadron a thing of history.

While not as glamorous as the Fighters or Strikers, its hard to say that Electronic Attack Squadron 133 doesn’t pull their own weight when it comes to air wing operations aboard the OFS Vulture.

Established as a EA-6B Squadron in 1991, they would serve aboard the OFS Buzzards reserve air wing throughout the Belkan war and Circum-Pacific wars until 2011 with their Transfer to Carrier Air Wing 7 aboard the recently commissioned OFS Vulture.

In 2019, the Squadron would be shore-side during most of the Lighthouse War, providing Electronic Warfare support to IUN Forces. In 2020, VAQ-133 would regroup and return with the rest of Air Wing 7 to Osea, and is currently in their workup phase for a 2024 deployment.

Established in 1982 at NAS Meridian, StrikeFitron 112 ‘Paladins’ would become one of the first stood up F/A-18 Hornet squadrons within the OMDF, and notably, made primarily fr om members of the F-14 Community, pulling pilots from both the VF-12 ‘Knights’ and  VF-83 ‘Warhawks’. Carrying over most of the traditions from the Knights, VFA-112 would earn their battle colors in 1993 during the ‘January Fifth Incident’, wh ere Paladin Hornets would shoot down four F-5N fighters from Sotoa.

The Paladins would continue to serve throughout the 1990s and 2000’s, During the Belkan War, and again during the Continental War flying against Yuktobanian Forces. In 2020 following a hectic deployment to Usea, the Paladins were largely slated for a training rotation before workups for a 2024 Anean Deployment, though rumors from the Osean Department of State may pit the Paladins, and rest of Carrier Air Wing 7, for a deployment to Verusea far sooner.

Launched in the late 1960s, it came at little surprise within the North Point Royal Navy that the HMS Dauntless would be the next ship slated for the scrap yard before the end of 2003. With nearly a forty year career, the vessel only had a middling career and with her final cruise was expected to be largely forgotten by the newest Super Carriers that had already overshadowed her.

It was for this reason that when Erusea had declared war against the continent,  taking large swaths of land in a seemingly unending onslaught that Captain Richard May of the recently reclassified UFS Dauntless sent off his two escort Frigates and went about on his own mission. Already sailing near Tyler Island, the Dauntless with her eight Harrier jump jets and three anti-submarine helicopters, went on a mission to cause as much havoc against the Eruseans as they could.

Sailing undetected, Dauntless would launch an Air Raid against the Erusean Naval Garrison at Anchorhead Bay, causing significant damage to

Known for a reputation of versatility and reliability, the 522nd Airlift Squadron “Pegasus” has made a name in the Airlift community. From Disaster relief in the 1980s to combat logistics during the Belkan war, there was never a challenge Pegasus failed to meet.

In 2000, in the aftermath of the Ulysses Disaster, Pegasus played a pivotal role in logistical support, ensuring a steady flow of resources to front-line units. The squadron's adaptability and efficiency in high-stakes scenarios earned them the Air Defense Force Outstanding Unit Award. Their contributions to the conflict underscored the critical role of airlift capabilities in modern warfare.

Today, Pegasus remains a symbol of Stratus's commitment to peace, humanitarian efforts, and military readiness. With a legacy spanning decades, Pegasus stands as a testament to the OADF’s dedication to service, and the squadron continues to soar into the future, ready to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.

Established in 1965 as an F-4 Phantom squadron, the 291st Tactical Fighter Squadron would prove early on to be a capable foe, earning multiple Readiness awards early in their career. In 1973, the squadron would rotate fr om their home at McNealy Air Force Base to Sand Island AFB, wh ere for the next 6 years they would hold the line against Yuktobanian incursions. In 1979, the squadron would upgrade to the F-15C, and relocate once again, this time to Oseas Heartland of Day AFB in Harwood.

The unit would deploy in 1995, and again in 2010 to support OADF operations during the Belkan and Circum Pacific Wars. During the Lighthouse War in 2019, an F-15C from the 291st was credited with two kills in the opening hours of the conflict, one a MQ-99 Drone, and the second a privately owned F-104 Starfighter. The Squadron having just returned from a deployment and about to begin transitioning to the F-15EX largely sat out the conflict, and would fully adopt the EX by 2021, Retiring the F-15C.

Born out of the fall of the original Erusean Monarchy, the "Sleeping Foxes" were one of the few Hornet Squadrons active within the Erusean Air Force in the Federation of Erusea's existence. Seeing Action in minor border clashes of the mid 1980's and early 1990's the 42nd also saw limited sorties during the 1998 Coup Detat in Usea and further action in the Continental War following the Ulysses impact.

The unit would serve during the Continental War at the turn of the century, however details are sparse on if the organization was transferred into the newly reestablished Royal Erusean Air Force. Last records of civilian aircraft enthusiasts show some F/A-18’s with unit markings were seen up until 2014, however no official records indicate if the organization was still active at this time

Since then, the Airmen of VF-181 Have been busy, regardless of full or part-time status, They all seek to preserve the legacy of the Rough Riders until the very end.

Serial number 44-83514, affectionately known as 'Buxom Babe' is a B-17G formerly operated by the Osean Air Force during the Osean War of the 1940s. She was initially accepted into service in June of 1944 with the 944th Bombardment Squadron, before being transferred into the 20th Bombardment Squadron 'Raiders', assigned to the Northern front against Belka. Buxom Babe would fly in 75 combat missions, along with 3 photo Reconnaissance missions before the end of the war.

Following the end of the Conflict, the B-17 would be remanded to a boneyard in west Harwood, Osea, until being purchased in 1952 for firebombing duties. In 1976, she would retire a second time, and come into possession of the Commemorative Air Force, who would restore her and turn the aging bomber into a "Living History exhibit. Ever since, Buxom Babe has toured across the country at airshows and public outreach events to teach younger generations about a war long past.

The former OMDF aircraft would transfer into the AAF in 2001 to bolster the air superiority and beyond visual range capabilities of Adygea, complimenting their aging F-4 Phantom fleet. Pilots would be trained by OMDF instructor classes in the nearly 20 years they operated during peacetime.

Established in the days following the formal end of hostilities between the Oseans and Eruseans, the 163rd Fighter Squadron was primarily composed of repatriated pilots captured during the war.

Flying older, obsolete F-16s, the 163rd would support the 111th Tactical Fighter Squadron 'Apollo' in airspace security around the capital of Erusea, giving them the self imposed nickname of 'Farbantis Finest'.

The unit would be implicated in late 2020 during an attempted coup detat of its officers against Loyalist forces, however this would ultimately fail with the deaths of all the perpetrators.

Today the 163rd continues to control the skies over the capital, this time alongside the other forces of Usea, instead of against them.

Strike Fighter Squadron 216, otherwise known as the "Fightin Fists", is an Osean Maritime Defense Force Reserve Squadron based at Heirelark Air Force Base in North Osea.

Flying Su-33 'Flankers' Purchased from Yuktobania in 1997, the Squadron is a part of the OMDFs Tactical Support Wing, which provides Red Air adversarial training for Osean Forces. Based in Heirelark, the Flankers of the Fists are more often than not working alongside Fulcrums from the 173rd Fighter Squadron nearby, providing the students of Heirelark hard-learned lessons in the more forgiving training environment instead of on the battlefield.

The unit is not geographically limited, notably in 2017 participating in Carrier trails aboard the OFS Barbet, which was one of the first times in OMDF History for a STOBAR aircraft to be launched and recovered from a traditional CATOBAR flight deck.

Established in 1965 flying the F-4J, the ubiquitously known ‘Wardog’ Squadron would spend most of its career attached as a shore-based squadron, as a liaison unit under the Osean Air Defense Forces’ 5th Fighter Wing at Joint Base Sand Island.

In 1975, the Squadron would adopt their well known F-14A, flying the type through the Belkan War, and gaining considerable notoriety in Counter-Air missions in the infamous Area B7R. This glory wouldn’t save the squadron however, when in 1998 with impending budget cuts forced the Wardogs from Tomcats into the less glamorous F-5, as an associate field training squadron at Sand Island. The Squadron would gain fame, followed by infamy, during the 2010 Circum-Pacific War when pilots from the Squadron would become war hero’s dubbed ‘The Razgriz’ until when late in the war the squadron would be implicated in an espionage plot supporting Yuktobania.

As a result, Fighter Squadron 108 would be quietly retired along with dozens of other squadrons in 2011

Established in the late 1960s flying the A-7 Corsair,  Attack Squadron 62 "Fist of the Fleet" would be a staple within the Emmerian Naval Reserves, often attached to Carrier Air Wing 2 in San Loma. Deploying twice in 1972, and 83, the squadron would notably earn the Distinction of winning the Aurelius award in 1984, for most spirited squadron in the Navy. In 1988, the squadron would upgrade to the F/A-18C, and would make a deployment to Sapin in 1996 supporting the No Fly Zone operations over Belka at that time.

With the planned divestment of the legacy F/A-18, the squadron would be disestablished in 2012, following a remarkable forty plus years of service, with one of the best safety records within the fleet.

Dating back to the founding of the Adamas Air Force in 1934, the Gamecocks have been the backbone of the Adamas Air Force. In 1973, the Gamecocks were selected to be Adamas F-14 Squadron with an order of nearly sixty airframes. Pilots would be sent to Osea, trading their aging F-104s for the newer Naval fighter, with the first group of Pilots and RIOs Graduating in 1975. Shortly after tge delivery of the first two F-14As to the Island however, civil war broke out in the country, leading to the ousting of the Osean backed DeJure government replaced by Yuktobanian supported Revolutionaries. At least one of the two F-14s that the Gamecocks had was transferred to Yuktobania as payment, with their remaining jet downed in 1977 during the Adamas Crisis that followed.

Today the Squadron operates a meager amount of MiG-29s for coastal Defense,  while the remaining Adamas ordered Tomcats were transferred to the Osean Marine Corps

The original purchasers of the F-14 Design, the Emmerian Military received the second block of Osean produced F-14A Tomcats in early 1971, with the first training squadron for the type being joint Osean and Emmerian crews. In 1972 at the Gracemerian Air Show, the first operational squadron of F-14 Tomcats would be unveiled to the public. Fighter Squadron 28, otherwise known as the 'Guardians'.

For the next year, VF-28 would become the world's premier experts in the Aircraft, often running exercises against other Emmerian units, eventually making their debut at Fighter Weapons School in 1975.

VF-28 would make various deployments in the 1980s and 1990s, until military wide restructuring forced the squadron's closure in 1997. F-14As fr om the squadron would be sent to Fighter Weapons School wh ere they are currently flown by VFC-10 "Headhunters".

One of the final F-14D squadrons in the Osean Maritime Defense Force, the Green Vikings were a late adopter of the F-14, starting with the F-14B in 1989 from their F-4J Phantoms.

The squadron would support sealift operations from Yuktobania during the 1995 Belkan War, though would not see combat during the conflict. In 2010, the squadron was assigned to IUN-PKF duties in Fort Grays, largely sitting out the conflict at home.

The Green Vikings were slated for a total retirement with the F-14D in 2020, however the loss of VF-228 during the Lighthouse War extended the squadron's life until 2025. The unit has not been selected for a new airframe however, and it is anticipated that with the total force retirement of the type by 2030, the VF-99 "Green Vikings" may fly their last sortie.

Established in 1975 flying the F-4E, the Makos would upgrade to their eponymous F-16s in 1989, and would be a feared adversary during the Belkan War. Mako F-16s were some of the first fighters to drop bombs on the Ustian Capital the first night of the war.

Later on in the conflict the 145th would be pushed back across the border by Coalition forces, taking up a defensive position near Weissenwald.

Following the war, the Makos were one of the few largely intact fighter squadrons within the Belkan Air Force and would help form the backbone of the beleaguered military during its rebuilding.

In 2021 the Makos would be one of the many squadrons deployed into Usea during the joint-security mission around Tyler Island before rotating back to Belka in early 2022. Today the Makos operate out of Hertzog Air Base in Southern Belka.

Established as Attack Squadron 36 flying A-1D Skyraiders in 1950, the Squadron has been a quiet observer within the history books of the Osean Maritime Defense Force. Initially aboard the OFS Sandpiper, the Squadron would adopt the faster A-4 Skyhawk in 1957, remaining with that aircraft until 1975 while aboard the OFS Pelican, Where the squadron would start to operate the A-7 Corsair. In 1985, the Squadron, still aboard the Pelican, would be redesignated as Strike Fighter Squadron 36, now flying the F/A-18A Hornet. Along with VAW-152, the Bad Bunnies would be one of the final squadrons assigned to the Pelican before its retirement in 1993, with the organization deactivated in 1994.

In 2019, the Squadron would be reactivated flying the F/A-18E Super Hornets, and would be assigned to CVW-28 tentatively for the Admiral Andersen, however with the loss of the carrier during the Lighthouse War, the rest of CVW-28 was rolled into CVW-14 aboard the recently launched OFS Pelican.

In 1973, the Janosian Defense Agency announced its interest in purchasing a replacement for its F-104 & F-4E interceptors. Initially, the F-15 was evaluated and initially chosen as the replacement,  however Osean Congressional oversight blocked the deal forcing the initial purchase to go to the F-14A proposal for the Janosian Air Self Defense Force (JASDF).

License built, the F-14AJ  would be nearly identical to the Osean and Emmerian F-14A Block 95, With the 202nd TFS and 405th TFS adopting the Airframe until the production was canceled in 1982 in favor of the F-15J.

Today Janosia still maintains its F-14AJ fleet as interceptors and light Reconnaissance aircraft. While there have been block upgrades suggested to the fleet, currently  the aircraft are some of the oldest flying examples of the type, only being modernized somewhat in 2010. The fleet is expected to stay with Janosia until 2027, with reports suggesting Adygea may purchase the fleet to bolster its own Air Defense Force.

Their first taste of combat would come in the mid-1970s during the Adamas Crisis. The Prowlers fr om Gauntlet would fly hundreds of hours jamming Adaman SAM batteries allowing for Osean Air Operations to take place over the island safely.

In the 1980s, the Squadron would transfer to CVW-21 aboard the OFS Hubert, And later in 1995 would be assigned to Shore Duty supporting Osean operations in Belka. In 2006, the Squadron would trade their now aging EA-6B Prowlers for EA-18G Growler aircraft, completing the transition in 2008. With these new Growlers they would deploy to Osean bases in Usea, protecting interests in the region during the 2010 Circum-Pacific War.

Established some time in the 1970s, the 165th Fighter Bomber Squadron 'Pegasus' would earn the coveted title of 'Guards' shortly before the outbreak of the Belkan War when in 1989, following years of ethnic conflict in the border oblast with neighboring Verusea, the Yuktobanian Army deployed its military to suppress local insurgent forces in "Oprichinia" operations. Following their successful campaign, the Pegasus would redeploy in 1994 as the first Yuktobanian Vanguard to Ustio, serving with distinction notably supporting Osean forces in Belka.

In 2010, during the Circum-Pacific War, the Pegasus would live up to their title, Now operating under the 5th Air Army, they would fly daring bombing raids against Osean Landings in Yuktobania, before retreating to Cinigrad later in the war. The Pegasus would see limited action in years following, notably during the 2016 Anean Conflict escorting Yuktobanian shipping through the Razgriz Strait from both Emmerian and Estovakian forces.

Veterans of the Continental War, the 7th Regiment, 1st Attack Battalion "Ironsides" of the Erusean Army made a name in the airborne cavalry world with their intimidating Mi-24 'Hind' gunships. Being able to penetrate into ISAF territory and disembark troops, then to continue to support them as a CAS asset proved vital in Erusea's push across the continent of Usea.

Following the end of the war, the 7-1 would return to Erusea, participating in counter-terror operations in the country along with ISAF Forces against hold-out resistance fighters in the Country. As the reformation of the Erusean Army continued, the once ubiquitous Hind became a rarer sight, leaving the 7th as one of the final operators of the type in the country.

Osean Forces in 2019 would learn to fear the aging flying tanks, as the unit would be deployed against Osea during the Lighthouse War, and continue to support Loyalist forces in the months following.

Gargoyle Squadron, officially Fighter Squadron 616, is an Osean Maritime Defense Force squadron assigned to the International Union Peace Keeping Force. The Squadron saw deployment in the Lighthouse War, notably during Operations Dual Wielder as well as Operation Lighthouse Keeper.

During Operation Lighthouse Keeper, the squadron was under secret orders by the IUN to destroy the International Space Elevator. While their fellow Squadrons Golem (VFA-506) and Mage (508th TFS) were escorting the former president, Vincent Harling, away from the battle space. Gargoyle Squadron fired missiles at the space elevator. Almost all of them were intercepted by MQ-101s, thinning out their numbers, though one missile did hit the space elevator and cause minimal damage. Gargoyle continued to maintain air superiority during the rest of the operation. After the death of Osean Former President Vincent Harling and the arrival of Arsenal Bird Liberty, Gargoyle exfiltrated the combat zone.

Veterans of the Belkan War, the 44th ‘Werwolf’ Squadron quickly became well respected by Belkan and Allied forces alike, with some of their pilots going onto act as instructors within foreign air forces later in their careers.

Flying the F-15C Eagle, the Werwolfs would have a long period of operational dormancy between the end of the war until 2022, only briefly standing alert in the final days of the 2010 Circum-Pacific war with increased Osean and Yuktobanian activity on their western border.

In 2023, the 44th along with other elements of the Belkan Military would be deployed to Tyler Island, Usea, in a Joint-Security mission with the IUN and Osea following the events that unfolded during the 2019 Lighthouse War, where Belkan citizens were targeted by Erusean forces on the island.

Established at Heirelark Air Force Base, the 531st Fighter Training Squadron "Gamblers" is one of the final steps a student pilot must take before they can be considered for further fighter pilot training within the OADF. Not everyone who passes through the gates will succeed, but thanks to the training provided by the men and women of the 531st, those pilots who do pass are some of the best prepared for the trials that come with being a fighter pilot.

Flying the F-5E, pilots learn the basics of BFM, all the way to simulated BVR engagements and complex ACM war games fought against nearby MiG Aggressor Squadrons.

Its a gamble to become a fighter pilot, but for those of the 531st, its one they gladly make every day.

Following a series of high profile failures to intercept Yuktobanian Fighters in 1979 due to shortcomings with the Janosian Air Defense Radar network, the Janosian Government was prompted to consider procurement of airborne early warning aircraft. Initially looking at the E-3A Sentry used by its allies Emmeria and Osea, the Janosian Air Self Defense Force instead selected the E-2C Hawkeye due to easier access and affordability through the Osean Foreign Military Sales program.

In 1981, the first AEWC Squadron entered operational status within the JASDF. The 501st “Snow Witches” would aid Fighter Squadrons in interception of Yuktobanian aircraft probing the island chain’s defenses. In the years following, between local upgrades and newer E-2D Aircraft purchased from Osea, the Snow Witches have become a vital asset to the aerial defense of their country, leading F-5s, F-14 and F-15 fighters to counter the Flankers and Fulcrums sent their way from across the sea.

Developed in 1974, Officially named the Project 2274B, was a Yuktobanian produced aircraft reverse engineered fr om an F-14A gifted to the country by its ally Adamas. Made in a limited production before officially licensed F-14’s were purchased through Estovakia, the 74B was notably a far inferior aircraft at initial launch due to various design misunderstandings and material discrepancies. In 1997 it was ordered for an upgrade package to be developed for the 74B, with designs seemingly lifted from the Belkan F-14GN, as well as a newer AL-33 engine giving the 74B comparable performance to the Osean F-14D.

The service history of the F-14+ remains with one squadron, the 42nd Shipborne Fighter Aviation Regiment "Sokol". The unit saw limited service in the Belkan War, and would see some combat against Osea in 2010, against F-15Cs of the 31st TFS 'Enchanter', wh ere two Sokol 14+s would be shot down by the Eagles.

Today the aircraft are still in service, with an expected retirement in 2030.

Flying the Su-24 during the 1995 Belkan War, the 162nd Established themselves as a competent unit in the Yuktobanian Air Forces. So much so that they had earned their right to fly the brand new Su-34 'Fullback' fighter-bomber when the type came online in the early 2000s. With newer more advanced fighters, the leadership of the 162nd were eager to make a name for themselves, potentially earning the coveted title of 'Guards' when war came around again in 2010 against Yuktobanias longtime rival, Osea.

The 162nd would fly hundreds of combat sorties against the Western aggressors, though ultimately would end the war in the quagmire that became the Cinigrad Siege.
Following the conflict, the Fullbacks of the 162nd would return north to their base at the Shores of the Razgriz Strait, to continue to home their skills until the next time the Motherland calls for war.

Purchased in 1960 through the Emmerian Foreign Military Sales, the F-5E became a critical backbone to the Janosian Air Defense Force as a cheap, lightweight fighter to counterbalance the heavier F-4Cs and F-104s they had in their inventory.

Over the intervening years the Janosian F-5Es have become a formidable opponent with domestically produced block upgrades, including AGM-84 'Harpoon' missile capabilities, data linked into a controlling AEWC or Surface asset.

The 305th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Sakuras, is one of the final F-5E Squadron’s in Janosia however, with a bulk of F-5Es being retired in 2000 thanks to the far superior F-2A. Currently the Tiger is expected to be retired fully in 2026 in favor of the F-2A.

In the vast skies above the Harwood region in Osea, the 116th Tactical Fighter Squadron, renowned as the "Tomahawks” carves a legacy of courage within the ranks of the Osean Air Forces. Piloting the formidable F-18C Hornets, this exceptional squadron embodies the spirit of their homeland, with a culture reminiscent of the resilience, independence, and boundless pride of the people of Harwood.

Their heritage stretches back to the earliest days of Osean Air Power during the Osean War, First as a training squadron for fresh faced recruits, then later on in the 1940’s as a deadly fighter squadron, trading their Curtis JNs for P-47 Thunderbolts.

The Tomahawks are renowned for their combat expertise, a result of rigorous training, realistic simulations, and a deep understanding of tactical warfare. Their mastery of air-to-air and air-to-ground operations, coupled with the versatility of the F-18C, makes them a valuable asset in Osea's defense strategy.

Formed in the days following the Osean Operation Giants Step, the Erusean Air Force had been crippled and was rapidly fracturing into various factions under loyalties to senior field grade leadership over what the Oseans had simplified down into ‘Loyalist’ and ‘Radical’.

The 111th Fighter Squadron was formed when the few surviving Erusean senior officers rallied forces around Farbanti and struck an uneasy peace settlement with the Osean Occupational Forces. Raiding nearby Depots and boneyards; old Federal Erusean Air Force aircraft as well as recently retired airframes were pressed back into service to aid in the air security around the capital of Erusea.

Following the formal end of the war, the 111th was reintegrated into the now smaller Erusean Air Force, composed primarily of repatriated Erusean Pilots and Loyalists to Princess D’Elise.

First used in 2022, the Heritage theme for the 181st Fighter Squadron is based on the Jungle camouflage the unit wore while deployed in Clavis. The aircraft also bears markings significant to the squadron itself, though notably it lacks the Distinguished Unit award that most other Squadron aircraft bear.

In 2008, due to maintenance and budget restrictions, the Dragons would trade their remaining F-14s to VMF-78, and would instead fly the F/A-18 Hornet, redesignated as VMFA-24.

With their more advanced Hornets, the Dragons have continued their mission of supporting Osean Marine operations, with their first trial by fire during the Circum-Pacific War, providing critical Close Air Support during marine landings in southern Yuktobania during Operation Footprint.

Following their actions, they would make various deployments until making a combat deployment to Usea in support of the 2019 Lighthouse War between Osea and Erusea.

Osean Defense officials declined to comment on the whereabouts of the aircraft or identity of the squadron it belonged to, while forum users online suggest the Aircraft to be pieced together from multiple models and blocks of F-16.

Notably one of the smallest tanker units within the Air Force, the 203rd "Orcas" nonetheless have a proven track record of being a valued asset with the Pacific Air Force as the backbone of native aerial refueling for the command.

Established in 1987 with only four KC-135s, the unit would hit its peak of Aircraft in 2008 with an additional four aircraft from retired active duty units. During the Circum Pacific war however, two Orcas tankers would be lost. One during a landing mishap and another, callsign WHALE 6-3 would be shot down by two Yuktobanian F-14 Tomcats killing all aboard. Despite the tragedy, the Orcas continued to fly almost non stop for the duration of the conflict,  supporting Osean Airlift operations across the ocean.

Today the remaining six tankers are based at Homer Air Force Base along with the rest of the Pacifica Air Guard.
