Georgias Ultranationalist have started a civil war in the recent weeks and have taken importants cities, their forces are financed and supplied by Russian oligarchs and their government, it is suspected that their intention is to change the democratically elected government of Georgia for a pro-Russian one that allow the construction of a new gas pipeline that will reach Turkey, Syria, and the Middle East.

The insurgents advance has taken the Georgian forces by surprise and they have managed to capture key cities. The Georgian government has requested urgent help from NATO and the US. In response to Georgia's request, the US has sent TASK FORCE 60 led by CVN-73 USS George Washington carrying VFA-192 of which you are a squadron leader.

Operation Black Knight begins and its objective is to help the Georgian forces to recover their country and eliminate the insurgent forces, we must act with caution, we must not provoke Russia and lead the country into a large-scale war.

338 Squadron was formed at Sola, Stavanger on February 15, 1954 and is one of the youngest squadrons in the Royal Norwegian Air Force. The squadron was first equipped with the F-84G Thunderjet, and in October 1954 it was transferred to Orland air station, which since than has been it's permanent home.  In June 1958, 338 skvadron received its first F-86F Sabre jets. However it wasn't until the spring of 1960 that the transition was complete. 338 Skv flew the Sabre until 1966, when it re-equipped with the F-5 Freedom Fighter, an aircraft that was flown for 19 years, until the arrival of the General Dynamics F-16.


This skin is a fun "What if" on if Norway had opted for the Mirage F1 instead of the F-16 in the interceptor role.

Dawn 05:45 Jirah Airfield. You're resting & enjoying well deserved R n R after some intense ORT exercises (Operational Readiness Training). Just then your peace & quiet was broken by an alarming report that came in of a small enemy camp consisting of three enemy Howitzers & other units that have positioned themselves on the Euphrates River in Raqqa at the foot of a large road bridge. They're sitting East of the Euphrates River Weir Dam & its large Electricity Plant & at this very moment bombarding both the plant & the dam. Also at this camp is a SAM SA-3 Array & an enemy Ka-50 has been seen orbiting the area. If that's not enough...

Old campaign dusted off for the new Mirage F1. It's mainly focused on counterinsurgency warfare...which then escalates into something worse.
Set in the good old days when men were men and women made really good food - this is NOT for everyone.

All current Outremer campaigns have the exact same mission setups. So no quarter is given, no tinkering with the enemies and goals to "help" a certain aircraft type.
So this is something of a shady conflict set in some never heard of backwater, far from the usual Tom Clancy blah blah. YES, this is full-on macho, oldschool flying. Danger is doubled and you're never gonna get the upper hand. You will ALWAYS be outnumbered and outgunned. But if you can stomach such conditions..,you WILL enjoy this.
(Note: This has little to do with how experienced a sim pilot you are - a beginner with the right set of stones can take this on AND even learn something)

Esta campaña contiene briefings, planes de vuelo, datacards, fotos e inteligencia detallada ademas de triggers y voces text to speech con cierto nivel de calidad que harán un poco mas inmersiva la experiencia.
