I invite you to travel back to the 1980s and visit the Caucasus. As a pilot of the MiG-29A Fulcrum (full fidelity version), you'll face challenges in a short, mini-campaign for single player. While this isn't a full campaign, it will require players to be quite familiar with the MiG-29A's avionics and precision flight. This can be an interesting and challenging experience, while also (I hope) providing a few hours of fun. Campaign is JSGME or OVGME ready (or manual installation keeping the same structure). In the first case, after unpacking, you need to place the entire folder with subfolders and of course activate it using JSGME/OVGME. Before starting the campaign, please read the Readme file (Doc folder), there you will find the installation procedure and the most important tips.

Take on the role of an OH-58D pilot over Afghanistan before and during "Operation Moshtarak", part of a larger operation called "Enduring Freedom"! This is a single player campaign, payware quality but for free. You need the Polychop Simulation module - OH-58D "Kiowa Warrior", as well as a map of Afghanistan for DCS (the whole map or the western-south part) plus free DCS Marianas map (modern version).

Note (important!): before starting the campaign, be sure to read the whole manual (DOC folder). There you will find a historical background, important notes, tips and FAQs. To complete the set you also need to download the dedicated my skin for the OH-58D.

VR Lens Effect Removal - It is a small tool that I have been using from years and is intended for VR users only (although it has no negative effect on the 2D image, it will also remove that lens effect leaving the rest). The author of the idea is @Clorydric and I made it a modification that is easy to install, uninstall using JSGME. Currently, I have adapted the mod to the new version of DCS lighting (the patch that introduced fog, i.e. v.2.9.10.3948, although this file has not been touched for a long time and does not need to be updated very often). The modification removes the double lens effect (completely) in VR while maintaining all the other new lighting effects. What is more, VR users who turn off Lens Effect (Flare) lose a lot of cool lighting effects, so (at least for me) the best option is still to have Lens Effect: Flare + Dirt enabled in the options + Bloom in the VR tab and use this mod.

Single Player campaign for Mi-24P and DCS Persian Gulf map. Welcome to Afghanistan, soldier! We have 1984, and you as the pilot Alexander Sokolov, together with co pilot / weapon operator Boris Petrovich, will take part in the conflict and intervention of Soviet troops in Afghanistan. The Soviet intervention in Afghanistan lasted from December 25, 1979 to February 15, 1989. It was a period of intensive use of Mi-24 helicopters of various versions. The initial successes and basically unrestricted operation of helicopters in Afghanistan became the basis for this story driven campaign. However, the situation began to change halfway through the Soviet intervention.

In this mission, you will be able to test your JTAC assistance skills on the Strike Eagle (Razbam's addon) on Caucasus map. The mission can be played in single player or multiplayer, up to a maximum of 3 aircraft. You have all the necessary data in the briefing. The version ending in MP is for Multiplayer only, the SP version is singleplayer. Your target will be the enemy convoy (one if you play in SP), and if in multiplayer then depending on the plane you need to check your target's data in the briefing necessarily. JSGME ready improved PDL lights (Pilot Director Lights) for the KC-135 tanker (and MPRS). Especially useful for VR users. It's a compromise of making the textures more intense while increasing the contrast of the others as well as darkening them a bit. Unfortunately, the a2refueling approach lights aren't really lights in DCS, just a customized texture. Now, with this modification, it's much easier to see the lighting on the tanker. Good luck in A2R!

In EA status (till now), the position of Pilot view (in VR mode) is shifted. Too high and too left. I did correct file for this (plus small change for view from Observer/Radio navigator perspective). With this mod you will have the correct head position in the cockpit. VR mod only. Installation: this file is JSGME ready, so easy to install/uninstall. Just put unpacked folder (named "VR Mosquito view ...") in your folder with mods and activate it. Tested in Open Beta 2.7.7.15038 and works fine here.

- the new texture of pilot (helmet) + shiny effects (helmet +_ visor),
- more weathering effects (in RL he was more clean, but I like dirties ;D), weak paint on the ends like in orginal UAE's 2000-9,
- new tail, badge, insignia,

This mod for communication is dedicated for proper format for Mirage 2000C INS system from JTAC (so You will see as coordinates GRID but L/L: degrees, minutes, decimals also for M2KC). From now it's easy to find a target with coordinates given by JTAC! You can check this video tutorial how to do in DCS: https://youtu.be/kBpUksPzUXM with this mod.

Additional textures for KC-130 of Razbam (part of AV-8B N/A). Files are JSGME Ready. New DCS 2.5 standard files for KC-130 for shiny/glossy effects + more weathering. In this package You will have speculars files for PBR (RoughMet). The default KC-130 doesn't have it and it looks for me too matt (compared to the rest models from DCS). This version will be compatible with the other paints of KC, plus scratches and dirts, so a light reflection effect will appear on every painting, including the US (this is the RoughMet advantage). This skin is dedicated for KC-130 of Razbam and especially Mirage 2000C for aerial refueling (notice: You must to have model of KC-130, it is in package with AV-8B N/A). This is fictional repaint (France hasn't KC-130 yet) but this skin is based on real C-130 from France also. I must to add, France ordered KC-130J. It will be delivery in the end of 2019. This repaint has RoughMet files (v.2 of this skin). It gives more shiny effect. NATO Tiger Meet 2011 EC1 12 103-KV: the 50th Anniversary tiger-marks on the tail of this Mirage 2000C from EC1/12, based at Cambrai (NATO Tiger Meet 2011).  Tested in 1.5.3 and 2.0.1. Readme included. Enjoy!

13.04.18 - updated for the last version of M2000C (with pilot also) and DCS 2.5.

- the new texture of pilot,
- more weathering effects (in RL he was more clean, but I like dirties ;D),
- new tail of NATO Tiger Meet from 2011,

France's participation in Desert Storm was called "Operation Daguet (French for Brocket Deer). The French were responsible for the left flank as Coalition Forces worked their way into Kuwait to drive the Iraqi invaders out of the country. Along with Mirage 2000C France supplied transport aircraft refueling planes ground attack aircraft as well as Army and Navy personnel and other materiel. Even after Desert Storm ended France continued to participate in activities in the region. Readme file included. The repaint done by Rafal from www.yoyosims.pl. Tested in DCS 2.0.1 and 1.5.2.

Updates: v2.- added mipmaps for this repaint for better quality. Update from 27.02.16: v3.- fixed of default paintkit for M2000C of Matel2Mesh (Warning arrow, now lines are smooth), added more weathering and dirties effects. 18.11.2017 - update for v4, April 2018 update for DCS 2.5 + current Mirage version, v.5 - 18 May 2018 - missing Eclair pod texture + helmet RoughMet file. See readme for this effect.

The real repaint of MiG-15bis, 1953, Korea. This MiG was a plane of Mikhail Ivanovich Mikhin (he was awarded Hero of the Soviet Union, 9 victories). Soviet Ase from Korea war. The repaint includes the new weathering effects. The skin done by www.yoyosims.pl. UPDATE: 02.2019 - update for DCS 2.5+.
