The RCAF Auxiliary Fighter Squadrons began operating the P-51D from 1947, agreements having been made with the US Government to purchase via the US Foreign Liquidation Office. 402 "City of Winnipeg" Squadron is a Royal Canadian Air Force (formerly the Canadian Forces) squadron based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. This is a rendition of the restored P-51 'City of Winnipeg' which was sold to Tom Friedkin and later Claire Aviation/Tom Duffy. She is now in a new paint 'Kwitcherbitchin'
