I feel the need for SPEED! Some DCS pilots think the use of AUTO-START/STOP 'assists' is a form of heresy but there are times when you just want to fire up the jet and get going, especially in some multiplayer missions. This download answers that need.
It provides a *MUCH* faster version of my complete AUTO-START and AUTO-PROCESSES for the A-10C II (also available in the DCS User Files area; search for 'autostart'). Not only is it better organized, better sequenced, better timed, and more complete than the default version, this script is seriously FAST, achieved by accessing the little-known ALT ALIGN process for the INS. The accelerated alignment time is 01:26 (mm:ss) compared to the default time of 04:40. This produces an overall AUTO-START time of 03:18, compared to 06:35 by default. The new AUTO-STOP process is also faster than the default script.

Make a copy of the default/existing Macro_sequencies.lua before installing this one; I suggest renaming the existing file to Macro_sequencies_default.lua or something similar.

Prefer a full auto-start sequence? I have also provided an ADVANCED AUTO-START SEQUENCE file for the A-10C II, that uses the full INS alignment process. My Advanced Auto-Start process takes just under 6 minutes (slightly faster than the default file but much more comprehensive).
