A custom mission replicating the daring 1981 strike on the Osirak Facility by the Israeli Air Force, dubbed Operation Opera. This mission features realistic aircraft, weapon load-outs, threats, and flight planning for the real mission. Up to 14 players can fly together in both air-to-ground and air-to-air roles. Requires a high level of skill in aircraft handling, navigation, and weapons employment. Bring some friends and see if you can pull off the virtual equivalent of one of the most daring raids in military history.

Russia has invaded northern Georgia and has taken over the Abkhaz territory. Gudauta and Sukhumi air bases are controlled by Russia. Russian armed forces’ southernmost thrust has reached Ochamchira and Tkvarcheli on the Galidzga river.

US, UK, Norwegian and Swedish air forces are operating from Senaki-Kolkhi and Kutaisi AB. Coalition ground forces are in the process of securing the city of Zugdidi. Meanwhile a small Georgian naval group is racing towards a Russian naval invasion force in order to sink it down before they unload their ground troops.

Note: This mission is set in the same universe as Operation Iron Shield by Leodaman (uploaded on 16.02.2018)

Enemy forces have infiltrated Gudauta AFB & have become a concern. Terrorists with armed speed boats located on the shore of the Western side of the AFB are making deliveries and let me tell you.. they aint no Fed Ex. Intel tells us they are supplying weapons & communication equipment to the Base. Also identified at the Base among other installations is a newly installed & active SAM SA-11 & patrolling the area is a Mig-29A.
