“Antiquated” is a term that best describes the 307th Tactical Fighter Squadron, also known as the “Warlords”. Flying a fighter that had been largely phased out by the Osean Military nearly a decade earlier for combat roles, the Warlords have prided themselves on being the last of a dying breed of fighter-pilot. While the F-5 provides little in the way of air superiority with its limited range and lack of air-to-air options, the Pilots of the 307th have instead made their mission supporting COIN operations around the world along with air interdiction services in critical areas where modern fighters such as the F-16 would not be able to perform.

Mujahideen captured Afghanistan Air Force Mi-24 late 1980's

Includes historical orange yellow version scheme, sand weathering, pilots with mustaches, 2 digit numbers and gray exhaust IR suppressors

Because there are no decal changes these will work as Afghan Air Force planes too. Pilots usually just switched sides to whoever was in control when regime got changed or they defected so there is no need to draw long beards for these guys anyway. Idea here is to allow creation of scenarios for both AAF and Insurgents with planes that were historically actually flown or could have been flown by both sides during late 80's war period and 90's

This aircraft featured the experimental Arctic camouflage pattern known as the "Snowhog," designed for operations in snowy, cold-weather environments. The scheme consists of irregular black patches on a white background meant to blend the aircraft with its surrounding winter landscape. Though officially confirmed to have been applied to only one aircraft, it's speculated that up to three aircraft may have donned the livery during testing phases. This camouflage was never fully adopted by the USAF and was used during Operation Cool Snow Hog.

With the rollout of the Osean Lightweight Fighter, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the then Country of Perbla was one of the first foreign buyers of the fighter. With purchases made in 1983, the Country would be one of the first to receive Block-25 F-16C’s to bolster their historically middling air force that had up to that point been reliant on the F-5E for its Airborne fighter capability. The 401st Fighter Squadron ‘Gallo’ (Rooster) would receive their eighteen F-16 Fighting Falcons in 1984 under the ‘Peace Aztec’ Program. Stationed at Airbase Number 2 outside San Vijo, the squadron participated in the 2011 civil unrest that saw the restructuring of Perbla into Carranza.
Today the 401st Squadron still operates their remaining F-16C Fighters in conjunction with Osean Air Defense Force fighters protecting their respective borders. Most notably in interdiction roles against Adamas fighters to their East and Leasath along their southern border.

This is an example of small templates that can be made to be used by ASTI (All Static Template Import) tool. This ready to use FARP can be placed anywhere on any DCS World map. You can put live or other static units to personnalise it and then make it a template to place it where you want with ASTI.
Original template is included to be adapted as needed and new template after ASTI process to show new orientation. PDF includes screenshot to help to place it more precisely. (I use Draw tool for that)
