Making up The Air Component to the Royal Nordlands Navy, the pilots assigned to 511, 513, 514, and 515 squadrons are vital in humanitarian missions and naval security for the Kingdom.

The 511 ‘Zeemeeuwen’ Squadron, flying E-2C Hawkeye AEW Aircraft, were vital in tracking Ulysses Fragments during planetfall in 1999 along with dozens of other nations Airborne assets.
