The 4477th Test and Evaluation Squadron (4477 TES) was created to expose the Tactical Air Forces to the flight characteristics of fighter aircraft used by Soviet Union during the Cold War. The declassified history of the squadron shows that it operated MiG-17s, MiG-21s and MiG-23s between 1977 and 1988, and was formally disbanded in July 1990.

Weather is bad. You are to deliver medical goods to a FARP somewhere North of Tbilissi.

Radio navigation will be essential for this misison. No combat but you will need to stay alert.

Here is a new mission i created for MP servers. Feel free to modify at will.

Very simple in setup as it uses the new Stonehouse/Lukrop GCI script. I have also added a dynamic weather front so you have some nice cloud banks that may/may not obscure targets.

8 x Mig 15 vs. 8 x F86

DPRK must eliminate a group of 8 F-86 static units at the civil AF in Kutaisi.
USA must attrit a DPRK base <50% in Sukhumi.

AI will take off/spawn at your bases as per the GCI script.

There is ONE Awacs per side that will need to be protected.

All comms are tested and working in the mission with appropriate info in the briefings.

UH-1 IFR mission.  Weather is windy, 110m visibility in fog & rain. You have to take-off & perform an ILS approach at Kobuleti! This mission will test your IFR piloting skills.  Mission time 10-20 min.

Mi-8 IFR mission.  Weather is windy, 110m visibility in fog & rain. You have to take-off & perform an ARK (NDB) approach at Kobuleti! This mission will test all your piloting skills. Do you have the nerves for it? Mission time 10-20 min.

Intercept & prevent 4 B-52's reaching & bombing Sukhumi, with the help of GCI. Take-off & land at Kobuleti in bad visibility and a heavy snowstorm. Are you up for the challange?
Credits goes to "pandaman" for the original mission that I have just modified slightly. Mission time approx. 30 min.

VFR flight is for chumps. In this mission you're going to be using the ARK-9, ARK-UD, and doppler navigation to find your targets in the middle of a snowstorm.

There are 4 targets broadcasting in and around Sochi. Fly 20km from Sochi-Adler airport to the city of Sochi using the aid of the ARK-9 and doppler navigation. Use the ARK-UD, channels 1-4 to find each pickup. When you finish picking up all 4 targets, Return to Sochi-Adler airport.

Visibility is only 800 meters, theres a 15 knot wind, with a small chance of AK-47 fire.

Intercept an unknown supersonic aircraft in a dynamic, high-threat environment.

Following the successful repelling of Soviet Ground Forces by the Georgian Separatists, NATO forces based in Kutaisi & Batumi have been cooperating with local insurgents to prevent a Soviet counter attack. If the spy plane violates our border, you are to intercept it and shoot it down! Show these westerners a little Soviet hospitality!

(1) Intercept NATO spy plane.
(2) Shoot the aircraft down if it violates our borders!
(3) Avoid crossing the border.
(4) Evade enemy air defences.
(5) Return to desired airbase & shutdown the aircraft (independent from interception outcome).

Quickly and easily save/load your radio presets for SimpleRadioStandalone EAM/AWACS mode. A useful utility for players that like to play the role of GCI.

I've created a small program designed mainly to assist players that like to play the GCI role and don't want to have to manually tune their many radios each time they join a server. It will let you create presets of radio names, frequencies, channel volumes, etc., that can be saved and then instantly loaded into SRS.

A Yom Kippur 1970's Inspired Sinai WAR Scenario Template mission with SkyNet IADS Air Defence on both sides.
Both sides also have AID-A2A GCI.
Air to Air is already taken care of so the user can concentrate on creating a CA battle for contested territories.
Helicopter CAS mission would also be a good fit for this template.
