This Tomcat belongs to the Tillamook Air Museum in Tillamook, Oregon.

Once the Heatblur F14A is released, this Livery will be brought over to the F14A.

VF-202 skin for Heatblur F-14A Tomcat, side number 200 CAG. BuNo. 162710, ca.1991.

F-14A BuNo 161274 as flown by the Black Aces in 2000/2001.
This is the CAG Aircraft which was less colorful than the XO Bird.

Buno 161274 has first seen service in May '81 with VF-1 Wolfpack.
It joined VF-211 in May '88, then VF-154 in August '89, to VF-213 in January '91.
Next to VF-24 in August '95, back to VF-211 in July '96 and over to VF-41 in August 2000.
From there on it went to VF-101 in January 2002 with one final visit to VF-211 in March 2004.
In August of 2004 it was transfered to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group.

As in DCS 2.5.5.38140 Open Beta and DCS 2.5.5.35461 stable, the AIM-7M for the F-14B is faulty, behaving very poorly compared to the same missile on other planes.

The issue is known by Heatblur, as discussed here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=253004

This mod gives the F-14B the same AIM-7M as the F/A-18C and other planes in DCS using this missile.
The only modification I made was removing the LOFT function, which is not relevant in the Tomcat.

Two ways of installing the mod:

- With JSGME (recommended): the usual way.
- Manually: go to your \CoreMods\aircraft\F14\Entry folder, save a backup of the Weapons.lua and replace the original file with the one in the present archive.
