On 11 October 1973, the Israeli Air Force sent two flights of F-4Es on a Deep Strike to destroy the Banha Command (C3 -- Command, Control, Communications) Center. One flight attacked the SAM-6 battery just to the north and then escorted the main attack flight back to Hatzor, the other attacked the Egyptian command center with Durandal concrete-penetrating bombs.

You are the flight leader of the main attack flight. You are carrying six BLU-107B Durandal bombs.

In the opening minutes of the Yom Kippur War, 28 Migs attacked the Ophir Air Base near the southern tip of Sinai. The Quick Reaction Force, consisting of only two IAF F-4Es, took off to defend the base. You are the lead Phantom pilot.

On 6 October 1973 -- the first day of the Yom Kippur War -- a pair of IAF F-4Es was sent to scout the oil fields at Ras Sudr, the largest Israeli petroleum pumping facility on the Gulf of of Suez. They found 27 Egyptian Mi-8s carrying almost 700 commandos on their way to attempt to seize the oil field.

In the battle that followed, 14 Mi-8s were shot down. You are the flight leader of that Phantom flight.

On Day 2 of the Yom Kippur War, Egypt had already breached Israel's Bar Lev Line and was bringing follow-on forces up to the Suez Canal. They were most vulnerable to air attack at bridges where Egyptian Army vehicles were bunched up waiting to cross. Your are leading the first F-4E attack on a bridge crossing site. You have a dozen Rockeyes  and use Dive Toss to keep clear of Egyptian AAA.

During the Yom Kippur War, the Israeli Air Force used 88 Walleyes with 84 (96%) direct hits destroying 70 tanks/armored vehicles (several bombs claimed multiple vehicles) and 18 bridges.

On 17 October 1973 Israel sent an F-4E squadron north to the port of Latakia to bomb three bridges used to transport Soviet military goods to the Golan Heights. You can fly the STRIKE mission against the bridges, the SEAD attack on the AAA guarding the bridges or the CAP force protecting the attacking squadron. Comments welcome.
