An RAF No. 54 Sqn aircraft that served in Northern Australia during the pacific theatre. I did this exact one because it had the most documentation of any other Mk. VIII in the squadron.
Aussie Spitfire fans should recognise this one. Spitfire Mk. XVI TB863 is a beautifully restored example of a standard No. 453 Squadron Spitfire. This one is currently based at Temora in New South Wales.
