The expected raid is closing in. Your F14 has been refuelled and armed for raid intercept mission. You have joined up with Hawk Flight and topped off your fuel tanks from Texaco. You are Hawk 11 with your wingman being Hawk 12.
Reform with your 4 plane element and prepare to intercept inbound bandits. Expect TU-16 Badgers and TU-22 Backfires. The Hummers are up so make sure your datalink is on to take advantage of their radar coverage. You have 8 missiles so I expect you to get at least 4 bombers. Good luck.

Mission Briefing:
We are expecting a major air raid this morning. The Hummers are up and we are equipping all aircraft for a major engagement. The Task Force is planning to have the decks clear if we get Vampires inbound.
I realize you were not initially assigned to the Hawkeye escort but Colt 1-1 had a mechanical issue and we need you up to escort Overlord to the North East asap. You will be relieved by Dodge group shortly so you can return to finish arming and refuel for possible bomber intercepts.
