On February 9th, 2026 at 1508L, you will take part in one of the most electrifying aerial displays ever staged over Nevada — the ceremonial flyover of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. You’ll be joining a formation led by a B-1B Lancer, flanked by two F-15Cs, two F/A-18s, and two F-16s, all pushing precision flying to its limits for an amazing opening ceremony.

As your formation thunders across the Speedway at the exact second the national anthem concludes, a second B-1B will trail behind and unleash an afterburner solo pass, delivering a finale worthy of a championship event. In 1967, Amid woes with the TFX Program, the RAAF would elect to adopt the proven A-6E Intruder in lieu of the still untested F-111 ‘Aardvark’. Arriving in Queensland in 1969, the A-6’s Adoption would mark a turning point in Indo-Pacfic defense, as the RAAF would trade their Canberra bombers for the smaller Intruder.

The A-6’s assigned to the No.1 Squadron “Fighting First” would not see much combat service in their intervening years, aiding in limited actions during the peace-keeping operations in East Timor with the rest of the UN and INTERFET in 1999.

The A-6 would be retired from Australian service in 2008 with the wider-spread adoption of the more-advanced F/A-18F Super Hornets from the United States with the final flight of the type being in December of that same year, with a joint flight between the No.1 and No.6 Squadron’s over Queensland.

This is the battle that started the long occupation of Afghanistan by the Soviets.

In December of 1979, the Soviet Union had deployed many armored units and Spetsnaz teams to Afghanistan.
It was determined by the Soviet leadership that "new" leadership for the Afghans was needed. Oddly, this came as a shocking surprise to the government of Afghanistan, who actually believed that those forces were there to help protect them.

On December 27th 1979, will absolute knowledge of exactly where all the Afghan defenses were set, the Soviets struck relentlessly from multiple directions.
From this moment forward the Soviets would reestablish a more Soviet-friendly government.

The mission was originally developed for the Viper. However, I think the C-101EB is also well suited for this kind of training flight, and I like it very much. So the mission should rather have been called CULOPOLLO TALK-DOWN. Whatever.

In this mission, you will be guided by a controller (RAPCON) to a point in front of Runway 23 at Incirlik Airbase. From there, a second controller will initiate a Ground Controlled Approach (GCA - PAR Approach). You will then land on Runway 23 and park at Spot 27.

The mission has two scripts (one for RAPCON and one for GCA). Both scripts are activated sequentially by you via the F10 menu.

The controllers are voiced.

The mission is purely a training, landing, and test version. I used it to try to represent the above-mentioned landing procedure from RAPCON approach and handover to GCA, followed by tower and ground communication.
