This is a simple co-op mission against a defended industrial target near the town of Psebay. The mission is designed to exercise your skills in the A-4E from start-up to shutdown, utilizing nearly every system the module has to offer. You are part of a multi-flight strike package tasked with destroying an enemy military production plant (Briefing Image 3). The Strike Flight, callsign Uzi, consists of 2 elements. The primary targets are the two main production facilities, on the east end of the complex (Briefing Image 4). Ships 1 and 3 will be attacking these targets with a pair of Mk84 2000lb bombs, each. These buildings are defined by tall smokestacks - Number 1 will be attacking the northern building with 4 smokestacks, while Number 3 will be attacking the building with 2, just to the south.
Ships 2 and 4 will be attacking the secondary targets, a rail depot and fuel tanks to the west end of the complex (Briefing Image 5). Both aircraft will be carrying 6 Mk82s. In the event the main targets are not destroyed, damaging this support infrastructure will limit their ability to continue production.
Satellite imagery indicates the complex is defended by large caliber AAA as well as an SA-2 site approximately 1.5 miles to the east. The SEAD flight, callsign DODGE, is tasked with suppressing or killing the site ahead of the strike (Briefing Image 6).
DODGE flight will depart first in order to clear the path, with UZI approximately 90 seconds behind. Proceed directly to waypoint 1, and make a left turn into this valley system, which will lead you directly to the area of operations. Strike will commence a pop-up attack, approximately 3 miles fr om the complex, to achieve the element of surprise, as well as lim it exposure to any AAA threat.
After the strike, all aircraft will depart the AO to the south east, following a parallel valley south back to Gudata.
