- Vietnam War 1973, you are a Skyraider pilot (P-47 in DCS) and a CH-53 pilot (Huey) in SAR Squadron 73. You must recover our pilots crashed in the enemy zone.

- Your Mission: 3 roles to fulfill:
===========
1- Find the 4 American pilots who crashed in enemy territory: North Vietnam.
2- Destroy any enemy in the Area surrounding each pilot to be rescued.
3- Protect the “Jolly” helicopters which come to rescue the pilots on the ground.
4- Bring the 4 pilots back to the ground on the Helicopter Base (done by the BOTS or the players).

- The planes of SAR Squadron 73 are all called "Sandy" followed by their number.
- The helicopters are called "Jolly" followed by their number.

- The groups are made up of: 2 Sandy + 1 Jolly.

     - Group 1 = Sandy-1 + Sandy-2 + Jolly-1
     - Group 2 = Sandy-3 + Sandy-4 + Jolly-2
     - Group 3 = Sandy-5 + Sandy-6 + Jolly-3

     - Group 4 = 2 P-47 support aircraft (=BOTS)

--------------------------

- SANDY planes have the role of spotting pilots on the ground. To spot a pilot you have to pass over his plane on the ground and not just see the plane from afar. The JOLLY helicopters can also spot the pilots to be rescued, but the SANDY planes must protect the JOLLY helicopters.

- When a pilot on the ground has been discovered, the pilot appears on the F-10 map. You then have to go pick him up by helicopter to bring him back to the helicopter base. Several pilots can be rescued in succession in a single flight.

- JOLLY BOTS helicopters will automatically search for pilots spotted on the ground, but they are not fast and you can pilot a Huey helicopter to pick up the pilots yourself. In addition, BOTS helicopters do not always succeed in landing and recovering pilots on the ground. A real human pilot is needed for the rescue mission!

- Regardless of whether a pilot is brought back by a BOT helicopter or a helicopter piloted by a player, any pilot brought back to the Helicopter Base is counted as "rescued".

--------------------------

- The 4 pilots have reported their position and they are all in a clear area (a clearing for example):

- Pilot 1: "I am in a small clearing on a hill."

- Pilot 2: "I am on a ridge at 1160m altitude near the sea."

- Pilot 3: "I am 1 km east of Lake Soyong, near a helipad."

- Pilot 4: "I am in a small clearing 5 km south of Lake Soyong."

--------------------------
AIRCRAFT RADIO:
   - Channel A = Aircraft Base.
   - Channel B = Hélicos Base (Ravito if placed on the beach).

--------------------------

- In reality in 1973, the planes were Skyraiders, and the helicopters were CH-53s. The planes accompanied the helicopters and they started from the same base and not from two bases spaced apart as in this DCS Mission.
