Launched in the late 1960s, it came at little surprise within the North Point Royal Navy that the HMS Dauntless would be the next ship slated for the scrap yard before the end of 2003. With nearly a forty year career, the vessel only had a middling career and with her final cruise was expected to be largely forgotten by the newest Super Carriers that had already overshadowed her.
It was for this reason that when Erusea had declared war against the continent, taking large swaths of land in a seemingly unending onslaught that Captain Richard May of the recently reclassified UFS Dauntless sent off his two escort Frigates and went about on his own mission. Already sailing near Tyler Island, the Dauntless with her eight Harrier jump jets and three anti-submarine helicopters, went on a mission to cause as much havoc against the Eruseans as they could.
Sailing undetected, Dauntless would launch an Air Raid against the Erusean Naval Garrison at Anchorhead Bay, causing significant damage to
the ships moored there. Despite the Eruseans best efforts, the Dauntless and her squadrons would escape and a month after going off on their own, would successfully reintegrate with the rest of the ISAF Navy.
For the rest of the war, the Dauntless was critical in protecting naval trade between Yuktobania and East Usea.
