MISSION TRACK MAY NOT WORK WITH SUPERCARRIER UPGRADE
This is a Mission I fly when I want to test new DCS settings, hardware or OBS settings. The explosion is really consistent when the SLAM-ER missiles hit the bridge and S-300/Buk Air Defence systems. I put them really close together bottlenecked on a bridge and with fuel trucks all around. It's not meant to be realistic. It makes the explosion always happen about the same so it's a great stress test. It's also a fun mission.
I included a Track file you can open in Replay from the main menu if you just want to benchmark with it, not fly the mission.
*Sometimes the S-300 system blows itself up. Smoking carelessly I guess.. Just make sure you check F7 before setting up your missiles.
Mission: Take off and immediately fly at low altitude so the S-300 system doesn't hit you. Fly strait ahead until out of range of the first red circle on the map, turn around climb to 3-4000 ft and take out the lone Su-33. Return to low altitude, set your heading to around 198 and setup your missiles. Use TOO Mode, target waypoints 3, 4, 5, & 6. Setup 2 Steering points for each missile. Wypt 1 at 2 metres altitude and Wypt 2 also at 2 metres. Get 60 nm away from the target, climb to 10,000 and fire the missiles. Dive back down to low altitude, fly North on autopilot then switch views to F6 for the missiles and F7 for the ground targets to watch the fireworks. Now just wait for the missiles to hit and use the explosion as a benchmark or stress test.
I put enough tanks in to practice with laser guided bombs after the SAM systems are gone if you land on the carrier and rearm. Use GBU-12's and don't forget to arm yourself with the litening targeting pod. Clear enough Russian tanks out that the incoming Leopards win the battle.
