Second mission after Operation Strike Back #1.
Short mission w/ both A2A and A2G task. You need to use AWACS, SA and JTAC in order to complete the mission.
All is set in a fictional war/time.
To play this mission you will need F/A-18C module and Persian Gulf.
Wake up pilot! You have to scramble to intercept a Su25 going to Abu Musa Island, it does have a MiG21 as escort too. If they plan to escape destroy both jets before they reach Qeshm Island Airspace, if they cross the air space do NOT engage it.
Your fighter was already being prepared with laser guided bomb to take down outposts later in the day but since you are already in air...we can anticipate the sortie.
Reach the coast of Oman and wait to be contacted by our special forces ("alligator"); they will contact you when they are ready for the final push to the shoreline and then take cover for lasing the outpost for you.
When in place you will contact Anvil (WP4) and Eyeball (WP5).
We do not know if there are Shorad/SAM sites so be careful.
Also...we have some news with the UN.
They haven't decided yet to intervene in the conflict but we managed to have support without any active partecipation by them; they will provide a much needed AWACS that will help you track fighter jets.
After destroying both outposts come back home and land at Abu Musa Island, remember we do not have tanker in the air so keep an eye on fuel consumption.
