Simple mission for 2 players. No DLS needed other than F/A 18.
Take off from ground, bomb ACFT parked on ground, fight intercept ACFT, Land on carrier.
Just about every mission me and my friend tried was broken so I just started making my own. Please comment if it is broken and let me know what's wrong.
Not yet implemented:
No mission success message. Assume mission success when all 4 ACFT have been damaged and you have landed safely back on the carrier.
Briefing:
We have a target of opportunity today. Satellite imagery shows bombers sitting on the tarmac that are of strategic value to the communist. They are currently parked and vulnerable(WP1). The target aircraft are the following:
TU-142 x2
TU-160 x2
These aircraft are high level bombers that will wreak havoc on our allies in the region. The bombers need to be destroyed to protect our allies.
The airfield is protected by a single SA-10 S-300.
Once an aircraft has been damaged it will alert the communist and they will scramble an intercept. The intercept flight has been reported as a two flight.
Intel has reported that the intercept aircraft are SU-33.
You will take off from Sochi-Adler and proceed to target.
Your aircraft has been armed with HARMx2, AGM-65Ex2, AIM-9Xx2, Litening II Targeting POD.
Once the target has been damaged RTB. You will be returning to the CVN-74 John C. Stennis once mission complete.
An aerial refuel will be on station in the even it is required. KC135.
Carier CVN-74: TACAN 24x/CVN ICLS 11 CRS 110
Tanker KC-135: TACAN 66x/TKR
(Maverick's only damage the Tu-160s. The Tu-142s will are damaged engought that they will be destoryed afther some time. Once all 4 ACFT have been damaged RTB.)
