Berlin, june 1980.

Berlin is a divided city at the height of the Cold War. The Berlin Wall separates communist East Berlin, controlled by the GDR and the Soviet Union, fr om democratic West Berlin, aligned with West Germany and supported by the Western Allies. Movement between the two sides is heavily restricted, and families and friends are often split by the border.

West Berlin functions as an isolated enclave with a vibrant counterculture, political activism, and growing tension around left-wing extremism, including the Red Army Faction. East Berlin is tightly controlled by the state, with the Stasi maintaining surveillance and enforcing ideological conformity.

Daily life differs starkly between the two halves of the city, symbolizing the ideological conflict between East and West during the Cold War.

No. 7 Flight Army Air Corps was re-formed in 1970, at RAF Gatow in Berlin, wh ere it from 1977 operated Westland Gazelle AH.1 helicopters. (SA342 made under license by Aérospatiale)

Russia has started a full blown war against Finland, Norway and Sweden. You are a part of a coalition force called Polar Shield, consisting of these countries. As a Viper pilot, you have been sent to Evenes Air Base to be a part of the RNoAF 334 squadron.

Defend Northern Europe against Russian aggression. Get to flight line and see what missions we have for you today.

We're in 2010. Banak is constantly under attack by Russian forces and the RNoAF has established a squadron of F-16s to do CAP, defending the town of Lakselv and the airbase Banak.

In the past we've seen Su-34, MiG-29 and Tu-95, but that doesn't single out any other Russian aircraft.

A prior shift of two F-16s are inbound (Dodge). They are low on fuel, but they will assist you if there are any current threats.

Get ready for your 45 minute shift.

This campaign is based on the F-16 campaign with the same name, with some minor improvements and adjustments.

It's fall 2010. Tense situation with Russia and Georgia. Georgia wants to stay as an independent country, but Russia claims that Georgia should be a part of Russia. More than often, Russia sends airplanes across the border, harassing and terrorizing the Georgians. A large fleet of Russian ships in the Black Sea increases the tension even more.

This cold war needs to remain cold. If things go wrong here, it might lead up to third world war.

Ukraine has decided to help the Georgians and has established a QRA base at Kobuleti, in order to protect the Georgians and to deal with the constant threat and harassment by the Russians.

For the next year, you will do your service as a Fulcrum pilot in this force. Your job is to keep the Russians at bay, and do not provoke them more than necessary.

This mission lets you practice entering random MGRS coordinates as a steerpoint, and attack targets at that point, guided by an airborne JTAC (Pontiac). Depending on the enemy ground units, you'll be asked to either use GBU-12 (guided by Pontiac) or CBU-97.

A new group of enemy units will spawn once you've cleared out your current task.

Change the loadout as you like, default is 4 x GBU-12 + 6 x CBU-97 + C/L fuel tank

You will need the free Marianas map.

A C-130 cargo plane will ship crucial medical supplies and equipment from Adana (Turkey) to Nazareth (Israel).

There have been reports of an aggressive Syrian Air Force, eager to take down the C-130. Threats are random, but can only be airplanes used by the Syrian Air Force as of 2016; MiG-21, MiG-23 and MiG-29.

The Hellenic Air Force will provide F-16C support from Cyprus (Akrotiri Airfield),  aided by an US AWACS and a tanker

The year is 2010, a tense situation between Russia and Georgia. NATO has initiated a 2 ship QRA squadron situated in Kobuleti, where your primary task is to intercept (random) unidentified bogey contacts and escort them out of Georgian airspace WITHOUT deploying weapons. However, due to the tense situation some of those bogeys may be in fact bandits trying to shoot you down.

One RANDOM bogey spawn will take place under a mission from anywhere in the outskirts of Georgia. It can vary from many different russian aircrafts, and it may be several planes or just one. They may attack you, they may not, but please be aware of the rules of engagement : RETURN FIRE.

Bogeys can vary from MiG-29, Su-27, Su-25, Cessna 210, Passenger Jets, Tu-160, MiG-21, UAVs and many more.

This is 11 mission F-15C campaign by Eagle Dynamics which was patched by MadDog-IC, converted for F-16C Viper by taz1004.

I have only added in new clouds, removed the fog and tried to set the cloud ceiling to just about where the original was on each mission.


Notes:
1.  This campaign is originally designed for F-15C which have larger payload and fuel capacity.  Conserve fuel and missiles.  You will have enough fuel in all missions but just don't jettison all tanks at first encounter or go full throttle all the time.
2.  F-15C in DCS seems to have quicker cold start procedure so I recommend doing "STOR HDG" alignment instead of "NORM" alignment.  Some missions require you to be on time.
3.  All enemy jammers are disabled.  They will still use chaff.

INSTALL:  Extract to wherever you put your custom campaign.  Typically C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\DCS\Missions\Campaigns\en\

1. Fly to the airport where the VIP is waiting for you and pick him up. The airport is random and can be any airport located in Caucasus
2. Then you need to fly the VIP to another random airport and park near the HMMVW waiting for him to drop him off
3. Head back to base (optionally in formation with an L-39)
