It may be Christmas Day, but the war won’t wait until the festive season is over. Enemy forces have been spotted gathering in the built-up areas of Tinihidi-Gori. We believe they were planning to push south in a surprise attack. A few minutes ago, our HIMARS long-range artillery knocked out three key bridges. This has cut off the attack and temporarily stranded the enemy. It’s time to give out some special ‘presents’ from the Razorbacks! Scramble the Hogs!!!

Brush the snow off your A-10A and enjoy the turkey shoot!
Ideal refresher training or for getting new squad mates quickly into a battle.

Better Shadows (Mainly for VR and low level)

Update: As of DCS 2.9.12.5336 - 20.01.2025 mod is not working 100%. The man goal of eliminating distant flat shadows and removing far cascades are not working any more. I can only bump the bitmap resolution of shadow maps which improves quality but at a cost of performance hit. You will also still see the changing shadows when the cascade limits pass over them. ED apparently hardcoded that part somewhere else where I guess. Let's see if I can find a solution thanks.

Optimized for performance. Medium shadows setting already gives better quality shadows than vanilla high so this should be good for almost anyone. If you set it high that's a setting never existed in DCS but can be hard on your system (but looks phenomenal).
You need to set SSS on to be able to use it. Otherwise you will not get distant shadows.

This mod breaks integrity check. Turn off secondary shadows (I did not test it with it). Link is compatible with mod managers.

Boeing 747 USA Freighters and charters' pack --- Atlas Air + Southern Air (Transport) + World Airways Cargo --- Total 11x skins.

Atlas Air started freighter operations in 1993 and now operates 40+ Boeing 747 family.
In 2010, Atlas began pax charter. Now US Military often charters Atlas Air to transport both cargo and soldiers.

Southern Air Transport was a CIA front company and it operated Boeing 747 Freighters from 1993 to 1999.
CIA scandal made closing SAT, its asset was transferred to a new commercial airline Southern Air.

World Airways also operated US military cargo charters with World Cargo brand.

In this mission, you will be able to test your JTAC assistance skills on the Strike Eagle (Razbam's addon) on Caucasus map. The mission can be played in single player or multiplayer, up to a maximum of 3 aircraft. You have all the necessary data in the briefing. The version ending in MP is for Multiplayer only, the SP version is singleplayer. Your target will be the enemy convoy (one if you play in SP), and if in multiplayer then depending on the plane you need to check your target's data in the briefing necessarily. The F-15EX is the newest F-15 to be made by boeing. based of the older advancded eagles bought by Qatar the F-15QA, the F-15EX features new sensors, Avioinics, a Glass cockpit, and new weapon capalites, F-15EX was named "EAGLE II" on april 7th in 2021 and ordered 20 with 144 F-15EXs planned for the USAF. The USAF said mutiple Air National guard units would recive the F-15EX, aswell as Seymour Johnson AFB (SJ) would recive F-15EX to replace their fleet of E's.

While deployed to the Island, the Squadrons primary responsibility is Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD), as well as generalized Air defense of the island and supporting IUN-PKF Operations on the Mainland.

Updates: Historically correct armament: rockets. In previous version AI Mossies would not fire rocket so I substituted bombs. Now the rockets work properly (Thanks for the fix, ED!!!). And, with multicore, many more aircraft are supported. Also more historically correct ship and aircraft formations. And, correct Banff skins are now available at User Files (Thanks JP Gabobo!): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3328061/ and https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3328060/

On 7 March 1945, the Banff Strike Wing flew its longest mission to date to the Oslo Fjord to attack a formation of German landing craft carrying tanks and heavy artillery. The vessels were moving the weapons from Norway to Germany to help defend against the approaching Allied armies.

Requires South Atlantic map, which also has been recently updated and is even more stunning.
