F-16C 86-0231 first entered service in 1987 serving across several units including 23 TFS 'SP', 527 AS 'WR', and 149 TFS 'VA' before commencing service with the 457 FS 'TX' in mid 2007.

This aircraft was flown above 85,000 feet at as of yet some unknown time in 1992. The aircraft stalled and went into a flat spin. The fuselage was over stressed as it maintained over 9Gs of force for over two minutes. Pilot lost consciousness but regained awareness and was able to land safely. Major repairs had to be conducted on the aircraft which put it out of service for a few years. Date returned to service is also needed. From then on the aircraft received the name space bird.

Hello. Just wanted to share my own version of the Cold Start Procedure, I'm still learning the aircraft but I've refined this document over the last few days and it has really helped me to learn the cold start. I've provided it both in PDF format and in Kneeboard format.

To install, just copy the "Kneeboard" folder onto your /Saved Games/DCS/ or /Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/ to set is as kneeboard for the Mi-24P.

Later on I intend to expand on it with Taxi, Landing and Navigation sections, will update this file whan that happens.

86-0222 entered service in 1987 initially with 480 TFS 'SP'. Over the years she went through 480 FS 'SP', 149 TFS 'VA', 149 FS 'VA' before making it's way to 457 FS 'TX' in 1999.

During its service it had a mishap in the shape of a belly landing, but was fully repaired.

222 was the first of the Fort Worth airframes to wear the "Have Glass V" scheme.

Clean textures for the old F-5E Tiger II cockpit. ( not for remastered ) This download can, after unzipping/unpacking, be placed in Saved games. To place them in saved games, go to : .../users/[computer name]/saved games/DCS.openbeta . In the folder DCS.openbeta make a folder Liveries, then in the folder Liveries make a folder Cockpit_F-5E, and place this download in there.
Then in DCS, go to options (settings), select the SPECIAL tab, select the F-5E and in customized Cockpit select F-5E TIGER II refurbished 2.

I did this livery as an experiment for myself to compare the higher resolution texture in game.
May you are interessted in seeing the differences by yourselv, so I decided to share this one here.

Base texture template used from " Megalax " so credits for him.

I added detailed textures for:
- Helmet
- Main Gear
- Numbering
- Falcon special paint
