P-51D N2-W 383rd Fighter Squadron, 364th FG.

The aircraft, ' Bettye Jo IV ', was flown by Maj. Samuel J Wicker.
The squadron was stationed at RAF Honington in England.
The aircraft was lost 18 March ’45 when Lt. William F Hoppa was flying, he bailed out over Germany and became POW.
The pilot wears 383FS and 8th AirForce patches.
