When plans for the Emmerian Annexation were initially drafted, the Estovakian leadership recognized a need for specialized crack units for an efficient neutralization of the Emmerian Military.
The 145th Aviation Regiment was born out of this need in 2012, for the next four years, the crews would train relentlessly in Yuktobania and Estovakia for their sole mission.
Due to their exceptional service early on in the war, the 145th was granted the Hero of the Republic award, and would spend most of the following war at NAS Mesa Verde until their capitulation on May 15th 2016.
The unit would be disbanded, and their helicopters destroyed by the Emmerian Army as a part of a disarmament of the Estovakian Military following their defeat.

Even though the ceasefire on August 15th was officially announced, that did not stop South Ossetian troops to constantly shell nearby villages and towns within Georgia. It has been going on for about a year now and every few weeks, a new village is shelled and we lose a few troops. Georgian troops have attempted to locate the South Ossetians, however, they are quick and they tend to move their equipment around quickly after an attack.
