9 missions campaign for the community mod A-4E based on historical events related to the Falkland/Malvinas war of 1982.
I used primarily the excellent campaign made by wildjager (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3325715/), plus other historical sources, and related it in the South Atlantic map.

INSTALLATION:
extract the zip file in the "Saved Games" keeping the folder structure.

NOTES:
- REFUELLING:
use DCS F10 radio menu to contact the tanker and to command your wingmen to refuel. Due to a bug the tanker may reply instructing an altitude and speed not correct: check the kneeboard for the right ones. Moreover you may also receive the "brake away! brake away!" instruction now and then even while refuelling: you can disregard.
Normally you need to refuel either before or after the attack. If you want to skip the refuelling you may try to be conservative with fuel: i.e. fly at 20.000ft and keep a FF of 2000~2500lbs/hr, but whitin ~100nm from the target (wpt 2) you have to fly very low to avoid detection. Moreover, after the attack you can expect to be chased by Harriers and you need to fly at full thrust.
You can also land in emergency at Port Stanley/Puerto Argentino (It happened historically: one Mirage tried to land due to fuel low but unfortunalty it was downed by friendly A/A. One A-4 also tried that and had the gear collapsed). The airport is defended by Roland SAM and 40mm AAA, as it was historically. So it can function also as a safe place to escape enemy CAP.

- MISSION COMPLETITION: drop at least 1 bomb close to any target and land anywhere in one piece. Don't change loadout or it will compromise the mission result. (Exception, mission n.6: you or your wingman need to hit either ship with any weapon). From the 3rd mission you're going to use Snakeye bombs with fuze timer set to minimum 2".
(Soon the Argentinian pilots realized that dropping LD bombs from very low altitude didn't give time to the fuze to arm; then they decided to use Snakeye bombs only. Anyway most of the bombs even when hitting the target didn't exploded.)

- MISSION LENGHT: as it was IRL, missions are ~2 hrs long. Since there are long sections of flight straight over the sea I found the use of A-4's autopilot plus the DCS function "Time accellerate" a good way to shorten it.

- RADAR in SEARCH MODE: if you cannot see the ships with the radar, go to DCS settings - Special Tab - A-4 and deselect AN/APG-53A Radar Legacy Mode
