SAFAIR was established in the early 60s in South Africa, and rapidly became one of the world biggest L100 operators, with operations spanning from Antarctica to Afghanistan and Europe. The last of the SAFAIR L100s leaving South Africa in February 2023, SAFAIR, used their L100s to great effect for various humanitarian operations throughout the world.
They were set to order 10 LM-100Js, but the order never materialized.
