You are the logistics pilot of an Mi-8MTV2 assigned to keep Saipan's agriculture and export economy running. Your job is to transport supplies, harvested sugar cane, and processed sugar crystal across multiple locations. Keep the Islands sugar mill running at capacity by following the tasking below. When your aircraft is loaded, you will be too heavy to take off outside ground effect. Therefore, precision landings and careful takeoffs from tight helipads are essential skills to complete the mission.

You are the logistics pilot of an Mi-8MTV2 assigned to keep Saipan's agriculture and export economy running. Your job is to transport supplies, harvested sugar cane, and processed sugar crystal across multiple locations .Keep the Islands sugar mill running at capacity by following the tasking below. When your aircraft is loaded, you will be too heavy to take off outside ground effect. Therefore, precision landings and careful takeoffs from tight helipads are essential skills to complete the mission.
Tasking:
1. Pick Up Supplies
Farms require supplies before they can harvest sugar cane.
Use F10 > Status Report to see which farm currently needs supplies.
Supplies can be picked up at any airbase on Saipan.
Each airbase has a green circle marked on the map. Stop inside the circle.
Use F10 > Load Aircraft to overload the aircraft with supplies.
2. Deliver Supplies & Pick Up Sugar Cane
Fly to the farm indicated in the Status Report.
Land on the farm’s helipad. Transfer can only take place on the helipad
Use F10 > Unload Aircraft to unload the supplies.
After unloading, the farm will then harvest sugar cane.
Use F10 > Load Aircraft to overload the aircraft with the harvested cane.
Important: Delivering supplies to the wrong farm will waste them, and no cane will be produced.
3. Deliver Sugar Cane to the Mill
Fly the sugar cane to the Sugar Mill, marked on the map.
Land on the Sugar Mill’s helipad. Transfer can only take place on the helipad
Use F10 > Unload Aircraft to offload the sugar cane.
4. Repeat the Production Cycle
Once the mill has sugar cane delivered it will begin processing cane into sugar crystals.
Meanwhile, use F10 > Status Report to find the next farm requesting supplies.
Keep repeating the production loop:
Pick up supplies at any airbase
Deliver supplies to the next requesting farm
Load harvested sugar cane
Deliver sugar cane to the mill
5. Transfer Sugar Crystal to the Cargo Ship
The sugar mill can only hold a limited amount of sugar crystal:
The white circle under the mill icon indicates the amount of sugar crystal stored.
When the crystal storage is full, cane in storage will slowly begin to rot and be discarded
Transfer sugar crystal to cargo ship when the mill is full to avoid discarding sugar cane.
The cargo ship’s white circle on the map will fill as it accepts sugar.
When the cargo ship is full, the mission is complete.
Navigation
The Farm number and Sugar Mill number indicated on the map are the ARC-9 radio frequencies for navigation.
Saving Progress
You may use DCS’s built-in save function to save progress. This function has proven to be somewhat buggy over its release life cycle.
Difficulty Options
Use F10 > Preferences to change difficulty.
Higher difficulty increases the number of trips required to fill the cargo ship.
On Trivial difficulty, completing the mission should take about 90 minutes
Customization
Other helicopters besides the Mi-8MTV can be added to the mission
You may move the heliports anywhere on the map or add additional heliports.
Use the same naming convention for heliports, up to a maximum of 11 heliports.
Their warehouses cannot be unlimited.
