308th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Group, HL-R, Fano, Italy 1944 (Sea Grey, "Hack")

This "hack" or clipped wing Spitfire was designated aircraft "R" in the 308th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Group as it would of appeared when the squadron was assigned to Fano, Italy  c.1944.
