This archive includes high resolution PNG maps created from stitching screenshots of the DCS F10 map (a LOT of them...)
Unlike Google-Earth/Combatflite maps, the DCS map isn't 1:1 true-to-life and the differences - however small - may prove critical when planning missions involving ground units/objectives, close-air-support coordination and alike (Location and layout of roads, villages, forests etc)
The maps are of a resolution of 335 pixel/Nautical-mile and can be cropped as needed to create specific maps for coordination of air-ground operations.
It is my hope that those maps be of use by mission creators, planners as well as for JTAC/FAC(A) roles for creating immersive scenarios.
In the Archive you will find an index-map showing the areas included in the two hi-res maps.
The Israel-Lebanon map also include locations and names (approximated) of IDF as well as UNIFIL outposts
(IDF - Israeli Defense Force; UNIFIL - United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon).
Adding the outposts to missions may improve immersion and facilitate complex scenarios (Friendly outposts and troops, no-fire-zones etc)
