The F-4 Phantom II is an American two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather, long-range supersonic jet interceptor and fighter-bomber originally developed by McDonnell Aircraft for the United States Navy. After entering service with the Navy in 1961, it became adopted by the United States Marine Corps and United States Air Force. Due to its high adaptability, versatility and for its time, unparalleled capabilities, it quickly turned into the main workhorse for all 3 branches and spread beyond the borders of the United States, going on to serve and protect 12 nations across the world, with Phantoms still in operation today. Its production ran from 1958 to 1981, and with nigh 5200 Phantoms built, it became the most produced supersonic US military aircraft in the history, solidifying its place as one of the most recognizable and well known aircraft of the cold war era.

L’F-16C è un caccia multiruolo monomotore monoposto sviluppato negli anni ‘70. Ne sono stati costruiti oltre 4.500 esemplari ed è in servizio in 26 paesi, dove svolge numerose tipologie di missione che vanno dalla superiorità aerea al supporto ravvicinato alle truppe a terra, dal bombardamento di precisione alla soppressione delle difese aeree, alla ricognizione e altre ancora. Pochi altri aerei possono eguagliare la sua versatilità, manovrabilità, potenza di fuoco e l’elevato numero di esemplari prodotti.

Il Grumman F-14 Tomcat è un caccia da superiorità aerea imbarcato biposto con ala a geometria variabile che ha servito nella Marina degli Stati Uniti per 32 anni ed è tuttora in servizio con la IRIAF in Iran. L’F-14 è stato il caccia di prima linea della Marina degli Stati Uniti dagli anni ‘70 fino alla metà degli anni 2000. Nel corso della sua lunga carriera è diventato una delle principali piattaforme per l’attacco al suolo di precisione della Marina degli Stati Uniti, nonché il suo unico aereo da ricognizione.
Caratteristiche salienti del Tomcat sono la configurazione delle ali a freccia variabile, l’equipaggio di due elementi e il potente radar e sistema di controllo dell’armamento (WCS, Weapons Control System) AN/AWG-9. L’AWG-9 consente l’impiego dei missili aria-aria a lungo raggio AIM-54 Phoenix, mentre il pod LANTIRN permette di effettuare attacchi al suolo di precisione usando bombe a guida laser. L’F-14 Tomcat è stato protagonista di diversi eventi storici come i due incidenti del Golfo della Sirte, le operazioni Desert Storm e Iraqi Freedom, il conflitto in Yugoslavia e l’operazione Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. DCS: Supercarrier è la più dettagliata e realistica simulazione mai creata di una portaerei classe Nimitz. Una portaerei di classe Nimitz è una fortezza marina a propulsione nucleare con un equipaggio di oltre 6.000 tra marinai e aviatori. Il ponte di volo angolato con cavi di arresto e quattro catapulte a vapore supportano operazioni aeree fino a 90 velivoli. La nave è provvista anche di un formidabile sistema di difesa aerea che include i missili RIM-7 Sea Sparrow e RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) oltre al sistema di difesa a corto raggio (CIWS). The MB-339 is a single engine, twin seat, Italian jet trainer and light ground support aircraft derived from the legendary MB-326 and designed during the Cold War. The aircraft entered service in the early 80's becoming the main training platform of the Italian Air Force.
The MB-339 was exported in several foreign countries in which some specimens are still operative. This aircraft also took part in the Falklands-Malvinas war with the Armada de la República Argentina (Argentina Navy) and was also used by the Eritrean Air Force in various roles, against rebels, smugglers, and even against the Ethiopian Air Force.

The Aerges Engineering Team is pleased to introduce the DCS: Mirage F1. The Mirage F1 is a legendary single engine French fighter jet from the Cold War era. It has had an illustrious career serving with the air forces of France, Spain, Greece, Iraq and many other countries and has taken part in multiple conflicts. From its original role as an all-weather interceptor, it has evolved with multiple versions into a capable multirole platform.
The DCS: Mirage F1 will allow virtual pilots to accurately experience the feeling of flying a 1970s third generation aircraft. This is a particularly interesting aircraft, as it is equipped with a more sophisticated flight control system and navigation suite. However, it lacks any screens or computer assistance and has to be flown carefully and with skill.
