This pack contains different skins for the Aermacchi MB-339A and MB-339A/PAN based on British Aerospace Hawk Mk 66 while in service with the Swiss Air Force from 1989 until 1990 - yes, only two years :-).

U-1251 was build and test-flown in Great Britain and then transfered to Switzerland. U-1252 and the other Hawks were assembled in Switzerland and received the final paint.

This fictional skins are based on the Bücker Bü-131 Jungmann used by the Swiss Air Force from 1936 until 1971.

A-83 depicts the common painting called "Bückergelb" (Bücker-yellow) and A-5 shows the camouflage with neutrality stripes used while operating at the Swiss borders during World War 2.

Nicaragua loaned six of their F-47s to the Liberation Army of Guatemala`s Air Force on June 18th 1954, for its planned 10 day campaign against the Guatemalan government. This F-47N arrived solo at La Aurora air base in Guatemala City and 2 weeks later, she received Guatemalan Air Force colors and serial number 0658.

The post-war surplus of Allied combat aircraft gave many small Latin American air forces an opportunity to strengthen their fighting ability at relatively low cost. Chile was one of the countries that chose to participate in the project and on 1st July 1946 the Chilean airforce received it's first six P-47Ds. Another six aircraft arrived in Chile on 13th November 1947.

In the 1960s, the Guatemalan Air Force used 30 F-51D Mustang as strike aircraft and basic interceptor, supplied from surplus US stocks. The service period was from 1954 to the early 1970s.
Fuerza Aerea de Nicaragua (National Guard) purchased 26 P-51D Mustangs from Sweden in 1954 and later received 30 P-51D Mustangs from the U.S. together with two TF-51 models from MAP after 1954. All aircraft of this type were retired from service by 1964.
The Uruguayan Air Force used 25 P-51D Mustangs from 1950 to 1960; some were subsequently sold to Bolivia.

The Chilean Air Force selected the F-16 as the winner of a long-running competition to provide the nation's next generation of fighter aircraft in 2000. Eighteen surplus F-16A/B MLU aircraft (11 F-16AM and 7 F-16BM) were bought from the Netherlands in 2005. In late 2008, the Chilean Ministry of Defense expressed its interest in buying 18 more aircraft from the Netherlands, which was later confirmed in April 2009.

This General Dynamics F-16A was used by NASA Dryden Flight Research Center as an accompanying aircraft for testing the one and two-seater F-16XL and later as a test vehicle in the AFTI program (Advanced Fighter Technology Integration) at the DFRC. It is the only F-16 (serial no. 82-0976) with civil registration N826NA. Previously, this F-16A was used by the Langley Research Center with the identifier N516NA. The vertical tail of the A version was replaced by a C / D vertical tail during use.

1) Serial no. 2409: One of the six I-16 from 24th Chungtui, IVth Tatui, who took part to the first fighting versus the Zeroes from the Yokoyama unit, near Chungking on 13 September 1940.
2) Serial no. 94, Chinese Nationalist Air Force, 1938. This plance belongs to the Xinjiang Province Air Forces who donated this aircraft for the country.
3) Several Chinese Nationalist Air Force I-16 were captured by Japanese Troops and test flown...
