DCS World

  • Fixed H-6J GDJ-IV1 MER6 adaptor model.
  • Added smoke from vehicles and some static objects based on health, this means as a vehicle takes more damage you may see different levels of smoke giving you a better idea visually if you did any damage on that last run in.
  • ME. Info window expanded with opportunity to auto or selectively rename the units in the group. Press the “question” mark button next to the Group Name field. It was added earlier but not mentioned.
  • MP lobby. Select Role dialog now shows the name and IP address of the current server. The “Favorites” interactive star is also presented for convenience. Double-clicking on the IP address string copies it to clipboard. It was added earlier but not mentioned.
  • The lessons for free entry level Su-25T attack aircraft are improved: tuned triggers and timings; added helpful highlights and in-simulation pictures for some lessons; added RU voiceovers.

DCS: F-16C Viper by Eagle Dynamics

  • Adjusted threat position on the RWR.
    • Each threat lethality ring has been moved slightly outward. Radar threats in Track mode will appear just outside the solid white ring on the RWR display. Radar threats in Missile Guidance mode will appear inside the solid white ring. When taking defensive actions, radar threats displayed within the solid white ring should be prioritized over those outside the ring.
  • Fixed:Snowplow option missing on FCR page without TGP installed.
  • Fixed: High aspect BFM mission for Black Sea map - AI ignores player.

DCS: F/A-18C Hornet by Eagle Dynamics

  • Fixed: WPDSG designates the wrong point if the TDC assigned to HUD in A/G mode.
  • Fixed: Dumb bombs, cluster bombs and LGBs stuck in the wrong mode if IAMs are selected and a designation is made.
  • Fixed: Rudder animation on net phantom doesn't work.

      • Increased helicopter roll stability at submaximal speeds;
      • Improved behavior in transitional modes (roll-in/out and pitch-in/out)
    • The trim position of the helicopter and controls in hover and level flight modes has slightly changed.

DCS Mirage F1 by Aerges

TRAP 136 (‘Green’) and TRAP 137B (‘Red’) radios fixes:

  • TRAP-136 radio (‘Green’). Fixed incorrect operation of the radio function selector switch at cold start.
  • TRAP-136 radio (‘Green’). Fixed inoperative radio at cold cockpit start up, when the frequency was selected before the radio was powered on.
  • TRAP-136 radio (‘Green’). Selection of the Frequency mode selector 'G' position will not enable the guard receiver anymore. Use 'Pal+G' Function selector position to enable the guard receiver.
  • Fixed both 'Red' and 'Greed' radios function selector switches operation with autostart/autostop macros.

Optical Sight fixes:

  • Fixed a bug with wrong gunsight diameter, when entering A/G mode with VEL Optical Sight mode enabled.
  • Changed Optical Sight Velocity Scale display logic:
    • In '(C + M or SW) R' mode the Target Aspect Angle is displayed.
    • With short range missiles selected and not in '(C + M or SW) R' mode - the Target Closure Velocity is displayed.

General missile logic:

  • Wingtip missiles can now only be fired with a lock.
  • After review of available sources, Magic 1 and 2 missiles launch delays were reduced to 310 ms.
  • Added radar missile locked and masked tones.

Flight control system and AP fixes:

  • Yaw damper logic reworked: runaway yaw damper issue and oscillation in transonic fixed. Work on improving the behavior in wake turbulence is underway.
  • Fixed AP integral lateral command problems: AP can work with significant asymmetric payloads now.
  • AP ALT mode engagement is much more smooth now.
  • It's no longer possible to connect the AP at all when disconnection conditions are being met.
  • Solved AP disconnection issues with FFB.

3D model and textures:

  • Fixed Mirage F1 EE AOA color band lights.
  • Fixed Mirage F1 EE accelerometer reset animation.
  • Fixed right wing pylon. It is identical to the left wing one, instead of being both symmetrical.
  • Added missing SIL label to UHF radio unit.
  • Fixed animation of the anemometer speed bug.
  • Fixed several fuel and radar lights in the Mirage F1 EE.

Other fixes and improvements:

  • Corrected asymmetric load behavior when carrying BR-500 bombs.
  • Fixed control stick animation arguments mix.
  • Oxygen system energization logic fixed.
  • Main oxygen tank level test corrected.
  • Emergency landing gear deployment issues fixed.
  • Updated tooltips in Mirage F1 'Special Options' menu.

ALR-300 RWR:

  • The same voice message will not be played twice in a sequence anymore.
  • Reduced time delay between two voice messages.
  • Voice messages will not be omitted anymore, when the threat temporarily disappears from the RWR azimuth indicator, and then reappears.

  • Slight reduction of drag coefficient at subsonic speeds to better match the performance data.
  • Reduced payload supersonic drag.
  • Adjusted Magic, SW and SAMP 400 drag coefficients.
  • Rolling moment induced by external payload lift now accounted for.

Control system:

  • Default neutral point of non-FFB sticks changed to increase pitch-up zone, thus reducing sensitivity in pitch and increasing usable stick range in most situations.
  • Modified internal pitch curve (AMEDEE system). Pitch is now less sensitive at high deflection values.
  • Reduced effects of ARTHUR and Dashpot systems (stick force emulation) on pitch control. Now the ARTHUR and Dashpot model can be toggled in the Special Options menu.
  • Flight controls now require hydraulic pressure to move.
  • Rudder trembling problem solved.
  • Adjusted nose wheel steering curves to make it both more responsive and easier to control (still WIP).

Engine:

  • Flying backwards or having significant tail wind with RPM below 7000 might turn the engine off.
  • Moving the throttle to idle before the RPM are above 300 may lead to fire or over-temperature due to accumulation of fuel faster than before (IMPORTANT).
  • Engine stall can now be caused by moving the RPM back and forth too fast or engaging the afterburner at very high AoA or outside the flight envelope.
  • Engine stall RPM oscillations are now less severe.
  • Engine temperature in overspeed corrected to what is indicated in the manuals (<= 735 ºC).
  • Engine starter sound starts 2 seconds earlier than before.
  • Throttle is clickable now near idle detent position. When clicked it is set to idle cut-off position.

Radar:

  • Radar cover keyboard/joystick command will not take effect anymore when the radar cover add/remove function is disabled (aircraft is not on the ground, or canopy is closed).
  • Removed sound from the radar cover clickable action.
  • Radar antenna elevation/altitude difference function is fixed.
  • Altitude difference is correctly updated now when a target is tracked.
  • Radar strobe is now positioned at the last known target azimuth/range when the target track was lost.
  • The radar tracked target closing velocity (relative velocity) scale is correctly calibrated now in the range of -450 to 1800 knots, with the gap of -150 to 0 knots.

It works as follows:

Gun:

  • 300 m with no radar lock
  • target locked and the range > 3.5 km → range in NM
  • target locked and the range < 3.5 km → range in hectometers

Missile:

  • radar strobe position in NM with no radar lock (34 NM max)
  • target locked and the range > 3.5 km → range in NM
  • target locked and the range < 3.5 km → range in hectometers
  • The gunsight target range is fed now by the radar tracked target range (GYRO-ANT switch is still WIP, i.e. the gunsight always operates in GYRO mode).
  • The heading/range scale now displays a fixed 600 m range when the “Cannon 300/600” button is kept pressed, and there is no target tracked by the radar.
  • The “(C + M or SW) R” button now switches the Optical Sight to “A/A cannon” mode with short range missiles status displayed.
  • The gunsight reticle diameter is now set to 20 mrd, when the radar tracks a target. The “Cannon 300/600” button reverts it to 40 mrd diameter, while kept pressed.
  • The A/G sight is now a fixed depression sight. The selected manual depression doesn't affect A/A gunsight anymore.
  • Adjusted gyro (A/A) gunsight dampening constant.
  • Implemented Optical Sight time/velocity scale display logic:
    • when no radar lock → the scale is hidden (V symbol is in view)
    • with A/A gun selected → target relative velocity
    • with R550/SW missile selected and in (C + M or SW) R mode → target aspect angle
    • with R530 missile selected → missile flight time (time computation logic is WIP)
  • Target range provided by the radar to the gunsight is limited to 300-1600 m.
  • Gyro gunsight now accounts for the target range rate. The rate is set to 0 when the target is outside of the 300-1600 m range window.
  • Radar is now correctly initialised to search mode, according to cockpit switches positions, if its power switch was cycled OFF and ON while tracking a target.
  • “ANTENNE” (“ANT” aka “blind shooting”) gunsight mode is implemented.
  • Increased the gunsight accuracy in “GYRO” mode with target range and range rate available.
