Nimitz class carrier as R09 Ark Royal.

A mission you can run either solo or with friends to practice air combat.  It is meant for getting into the action quickly and resetting quickly so all aircraft are airstart so you can get many fights in over a short period of time.  You can fly any air superiority fighter in DCS (essentially anything with a dedicated air to air radar).  If you want to practice with a specific weapons loadout you can land at your nearby airbase to refuel/repair/rearm.  AWACS can also be called up so you can get bogey calls and can practice using datalink (for those aircraft that support it).  The DCS module Supercarrier is now included.

Flyable aircraft: F-5, F-14A, F-14B, F-15, F-16, F/A-18, M2000, Mirage F-1, Mig-21, Mig-29, SU-27, SU-33, J-11, JF-17

AI aircraft: F-4, F-5, F-14A, F-14B, F-15, F-16, F/A-18, M2000, Mirage F-1, Mig-21, Mig-23, Mig-25, Mig-29, Mig-31, SU-27, SU-30, SU-33, J-11, JF-17

This is operation St. Michael from the Iranian perspective. Fly either the MiG 29, MiG 21, or F-5E3.

Iran has seized a Ukranian ship under allegations of illegal activity. The ship also had an American national on board, who is a person of interest to both sides. It is expected the Americans will attempt to recover him.

You will begin on the ground in a state of cockpit readiness. If the Americans come, you will be scrambled into action.

Liaoning (16) (Chinese: 辽宁舰; pinyin: Liáoníng Jiàn), is the first aircraft carrier commissioned into the People's Liberation Army Navy Surface Force. It is classified as a training ship, intended to allow the Navy to practice with carrier usage.

Originally laid down as the Admiral Kuznetsov class multirole aircraft carrier Riga for the Soviet Navy, she was launched on December 4, 1988, and renamed Varyag in 1990. The stripped hulk was purchased in 1998 by the People's Republic of China and towed to Dalian Shipyard in northeast China. After being completely rebuilt and undergoing sea trials, the ship was commissioned into the PLAN as Liaoning on September 25, 2012.
