RAF Sukhumi - Airbase (Uses VPC Airfield Equipment MOD) puts you right in the heart of a modern day RAF fast jet training base right here in Caucasus Map of DCS World.

Use this mission as a base for training or LAUNCH one of TWO LOW LEVEL TRAINING SORTIES

Sitting on the coastline Sukhumi airfield has been extensively upgraded (via VPC MOD) to host RAF Hawk, RAF F-5E, RAF L-39 and RAF F/A-18C squadrons.


I present a mod to improve the rain inside the cockpit, surely I will be able to improve it, as a clarification there are 2 files requesting the VR or Monitor system, since both (I do not know if it is a problem or if it really works like that) renders differently . In VR the dynamic drops are not present hopefully ED take note and improve this problem. Don't get me to manage to make it look its best. I upload videos without / with the mod in VR and without / with the mod in Monitor.

Some of the animals have been already in a Mod-Pack earlier on, which is no longer working in 2.5. I brought them up to the new standard and modified them.
Some of the animals were coming from Sketchfab and the user Pablo444 under CC Attribution.

I modified them with Blender 2.91 (Poligon reduction and DCS Structuring) and exported them to EDM Format.
My next plans are to create animated animals. However I have first to learn the DCS structures for exporting "bone deforming" EDMs.

Have a lot of fun.

Over 1000 downloads... THANK YOU!     To install, unzip and place the folder in 'DCS world OpenBeta' (or Alpha) CoreMods, aircraft, MiG-15bis, Liveries, MiG-15bis. Select 'Russia' in the mission editor. Then the 'JACKDAWS - FLAMES' skin will appear in the drop down box.

It will be a very big mod wich will include a massive campaige with multiple difficulties and you will be able to fly from any aircrafts point of view. You will need Flaming Cliffs 3, F 18C Hornet, and Super Carrier DLCS wich you can get at the DCS World website or on Steam. Now this will not work with the steam version but you can link your DLCS on steam to your DCS account.

Changes the color of the tracers to red for the M61 Vulcan and increases accuracy to be more in line with the IRL counterpart.

Obviously 150% breaks IC.

1.  Unlimited fuel for wingman -  Script added so when wingman's fuel is below 50% internal tanks, the fuel level is frozen.  No more wingmen running out of fuel during a mission due to AI behaviour.  (If they use the tanker, the fuel will go to 100% and stay there).

2.  Adjusted some triggers and scripts for better gameplay.

3.  Changed version numbering to be similar to DCS version numbering.

Welcome to Red Flag Mission 1!  My goal in creating this mission is to simulate a realistic air to ground Red Flag mission for the new DCS AV-8B Harrier.  In order to fly this mission successfully, you’ll need to execute critical tasks, from hitting your timing points to low level flying to possible air to air combat.  

Make sure to read and familiarize yourself with the mission briefing and what’s expected of you before you enter the mission.  Things can happen fast in the air, so better to prepare on the ground!
