This mission uses the F-14's LANTIRN pod and is on a hot takeoff on the Forrestal since carrier launches no longer work with a cold cockpit. The mission briefing explains how to request targets through the F10 menu. Mission time is about 2 hours. I made this mission for myself to practice long range strikes using the LANTIRN pod. There are 8 randomized ground targets. Targets are given in LAT/LONG format and displayed on the F10 map. This mission was formally set at night but has been altered to day due to poor performance and lighting. Targets have been added to the F10 map because the LAT/LONG in the mission editor is incorrect and inconsistent to the in game map. Jester's LAT/LONG waypoint entry no longer appears to be functioning either

OPERATION STORMGAURD

WE HAVE LOCATED THE REBEL FORCES CHEMICAL FACILITY AND WEAPONS FACTORY, WITH FORCES PATROL AND ON SUPPLY ROUTES BETWEEN ALAMO - ASH SPRINGS - CRYSTAL SPRINGS BEARING,

RED VS BLUE helicopter death match, down the vegas strip, city is protected with blue and red SAMS and AAA, so you can not sneak round,Blue start south of Vegas RED start North of vegas. head to head down the strip

Russian forces are running convoys with military and civilian vehicles, carrying shells and weapons to carry chemical warheads and possible wmd’s,  satelites show this valley stretching 20 miles from the outpost at the entrance of TYRNYAUZ to the Outpost at the exit of ERBUS,this stretch being the most extremely protected area in Russia.
Convoys are on the move with Armour escorting supply vehicles, running the whole valley, with the central operations area being at VERH BAKSAN
Our intel sources believe the insurgent Leader is being transported in a civilian car, mixed in with one of the convoys, if we locate the vehicle, take him out, special forces monitioring the area will move in and collect the intel on the location of the farp,
We have multiple special forces ground teams monitoring the area, once the intel has been collected the nearest team will lase and mark targets, giving the Cas packages coordinates. the farp is a priority target

Tensions being extremely high with Korea, We need to put a Stop to the nuke facility, There EWR station and there test site, with these target areas out of operation, it will stop any more tests, also any threats they claim to give.
All Flight packages will Start off 0200 hours, From Groom lake Runway 14L On Departure Take a 5-10 degree climb to avoid Chert Ridge 8 miles south of the runway

MIG`s with R77`s , SA-6 & SA-3 site, small base in the woods with Comms Center and Ballistic missile site...lot`s of AAA | 4x Aim120 , 2x HARM, 2x Mk.84, 1 tank | main objectice is the Scud site/Comms center near the SAM sites, check mission planner to get an idea of the area. Caucasus Map.
