Two liveries (500 & 505) made for the Hornet that are based on the 1994 VA-196 A-6E SWIP liveries off of the USS Carl Vinson.
Taking Inspiration from the original liveries these are a test-bed and proof of concept for the upcoming A-6 Intruder which I will be making the 1994 VA-196 skins for. These skins have correct colors for both of the base colors, sailor of the year, correct bombs for Carrier Aviation and more! My squadron in DCS (also va-196) uses variations of these skins for ourselves customizing them ever so often to bring them even closer in historical accuracy.
TO INSTALL -
Unzip the folder and you will find another folder within the unzipped folder which will have three different skin folders. A 500 CAG, a 505 LINE JET and a COMMON. Take ALL THREE and move them to your saved games dcs folder and drop them into your Hornet Livery folder. You MUST have the common in order for them to work.
Liveries will show up as "VFA-196" In-Game.
