This is the first of my hopefully many campaigns for DCS. At present time the campaign is for the DCS F/A-18C Hornet, however I plan to broaden it to include a playable F-14 Tomcat upon release. Extensive research, time, and care has been put into simulating a realistic scenario in which the United States faces off against Iran. The core storyline elements for Operation Desert Rat have been taken from the real world conflict between the United States and Iraq in 1999; known as Operation Desert Fox. Missions for this campaign will be distributed on an individual basis; hopefully released no more than a month apart. The zip file which each scenario is distributed will contain three different mission files: one for single player (C_ODR_XX_SP), one for four-player multiplayer (C_ODR_XX_MP), and one lite version which contains much less assets for those who have found they are experiencing poor fps (C_ODR_XX_L).

The fifth mission in the "Prelude" series. As invasion plans proceed, the US Navy and Allied forces continue to ramp up operations after "The Prelude", "The Initial", "The Resolute", and attack on Kuh-e-Shab Mountain". You're on ready alert. It's 2 AM. Report comes in that a guided missile frigate has become disabled on a reef after pursuing gunboats. Peppered initially by a few ground troops, spotter planes have just arrived and artillery and motorized armed convoys are expected to be called in to attack the disabled ship. With full moon conditions a quick strike is required. All efforts must be made to protect the disabled frigate from mechanized and emplaced artillery .

This is a fictional Skin for the F18 based on the green colours of the german Tornado. I used my personal design because i wanted to create something new.
The Skin comes with 4 different Numbers so you can use it in a 4 ship formation with different numbers for each player. I hope you like it and please comment if you like it or not :D

This label mod will display a faint dot centered on aircrafts, just visible enough so that you're not at disadvantage when using the Oculus Rift. I'm a real life pilot and I fine tuned this mod to behave like my MK.I eyeballs in real life. Original label mod by Eekz.

As there are no german F-18 in real life, these are three fictional skins for the F/A-18C based on camouflage schemes and labels used by the former German Navy Squadron (Marinefliegergeschwader 1 and 2).

36+01 is based on MFG1 Panavia Tornado IDS camouflage scheme NORM 76
36+06 is based on MFG2 Panavia Tornado IDS camouflage scheme NORM 87e
36+25 is based on MFG2 F-104G Starfighter camouflage scheme NORM 62

MFG1 was inactivated in 1993 and its Tornados integrated into MFG2. MFG2 was inactivated in 2005.
